Palworld 1.0 added 44 accessories and changed how the whole category works. Accessories now come from schematics, which must be taken to the correct crafting facility. The old +1 and +2 versions were removed, and the normal versions now use the stronger statistics.
A good accessory should help with the activity happening now. Damage equipment has little value during base construction, and a carrying bonus does not help much during a hard boss fight. Keep several crafted options and change them before leaving the base.
Unlock Four Accessory Slots
Players begin with two accessory slots. The Medal Merchant sells two permanent slot upgrades in the current 1.0 inventory: the Mysterious Accessory Box and the Mystic Accessory Box. They cost Dog Coins and work once per character.
Buy both upgrades before building a four-item loadout. Dog Coins come from Mimogs and other rewards. A third or fourth slot often improves a character more than replacing one useful accessory with a small stat increase.
Turn a Schematic Into an Accessory
- Keep the schematic: the recipe remains available while the schematic is in the player inventory or accessible base storage.
- Check the recipe facility: the item description names the workbench or production line needed for that accessory.
- Gather the listed materials: higher-rarity accessories often need region materials such as Ancient Bark, Coralum Ingot, Dark Fragment, or Nightstar Sand.
- Craft one copy: accessories do not lose durability, so a finished item can be moved between loadouts instead of crafted again.
A schematic is not the wearable item. If a new reward does not appear in the equipment screen, open the crafting facility named in its description and find the unlocked recipe there.
Best Accessories for Combat
- Dogen Emblem: adds Attack Up level 4 to the player and Pal Attack Up level 4 to the active Pal. It is a strong general damage choice from Sunreach.
- Silvegis Emblem: adds Defense Up level 4 to both the player and active Pal. Use it when both are taking heavy damage.
- Warsect Terra's Belt: adds Defense Up level 4 and Health Up level 4 to the player. It is useful against bosses that can defeat the player quickly.
- Flame Emperor's Baton: raises Pal attack and Pal fire damage. Equip it only when a Fire Pal is doing most of the fighting.

Best Accessories for Catching and Travel
- Pal Tamer's Glasses: combine Mercy Hit with the ability to see hidden Pal potential. Player attacks cannot reduce a wild Pal below one health while the effect is active.
- Air Walker EX: adds two jumps and two aerial dashes. It is useful in Sunreach, ruins, mountains, and any area with broken terrain.
- Vanguard Charm: adds Health Up level 4 and level 3 heat and cold resistance. It reduces equipment changes while crossing different climates.
- Islander’s Tool Belt: adds level 4 carrying capacity and work speed. Use it while gathering materials, moving base storage, or crafting by hand.
Best Accessory for Pal Leveling
Growth Acceleration Bell gives Pal EXP Up level 3 to the party. Equip it before a boss defeat, capture, or large crafting payout. It does not improve combat directly, so replace it when the party is already at the required level.
The schematic is connected to the hack terminal near Mount Flopie Summit. Crafting the normal Bell needs 25 Ingot, 30 Paldium Fragment, 10 Mysterious Mushroom, and three Ancient Civilization Parts.

Where to Find the Main Schematics
- Dogen Emblem: search Sunreach Ancient Shrines and high-grade sky-island treasure. One shrine reward provides a fixed schematic.
- Silvegis Emblem: check the Feybreak cave near -1036, -1146.
- Pal Tamer's Glasses: visit the Astral Mountains ruin near 8, 121.
- Islander’s Tool Belt: enter the Astral Mountains cave near -161, 343.
- Warsect Terra's Belt: search the Sakurajima region and its Ancient Ruin rewards.
- Air Walker EX: search Sunreach treasure and Ancient Ruin schematic rewards.
Ancient Ruins use hack terminals. Complete the connection puzzle, collect the schematic, and read its crafting screen before gathering materials. Oil rigs, dungeons, and high-grade chests can also provide accessory schematics at lower rates.
Useful Four-Slot Loadouts
- General combat: Dogen Emblem, Silvegis Emblem, Warsect Terra's Belt, and one accessory matched to the active Pal.
- Capturing: Pal Tamer's Glasses, Air Walker EX, Vanguard Charm, and a carrying accessory.
- Pal leveling: Growth Acceleration Bell, Dogen Emblem, Warsect Terra's Belt, and one movement option.
- Base work: Islander’s Tool Belt plus carrying, work-speed, and climate choices that fit the base location.
Check the Stats panel after changing equipment. If the expected effect is missing, confirm that the correct crafted accessory is equipped and that another item is not trying to provide the same named effect.
