Community Guidelines

Reading approved comments is public. Publishing a comment requires a verified Pixel Twelve reader account and a unique public display name.

Community accounts are for readers who affirm that they are at least 13. Pixel Twelve does not ask for a date of birth in the current account flow. If you are under 13, do not create an account or submit a comment.

Profile photos are optional. Use an image you have permission to use. Do not upload explicit sexual content, nudity, graphic violence, hate symbols, private information, or an image intended to impersonate, harass, deceive, or endanger someone. Game artwork and fictional characters still need to follow these rules.

Photos are checked automatically before appearing publicly. Automated checks can make mistakes: an uncertain result is not published, and a failed upload leaves your previous photo unchanged. Choose another image or contact hello@pixeltwelve.com if you need help. Approval does not mean Pixel Twelve endorses the image or its use.

You can remove your photo from your account. Signed-in readers can report a displayed photo, and moderators may remove it. A report does not automatically remove a photo, and a report about an old version must not remove a replacement photo.

These guidelines also apply to written reviews on game, movie, TV series, and anime pages. Reading approved reviews and marking them helpful or not helpful do not require sign-in. Writing a review requires an eligible verified reader account. Readers under 13 must not participate.

Review your own experience of the title. Choose a score from 1 to 10, a clear headline, and between 48 and 5,000 characters of review text. Use the spoiler control when either the headline or the review reveals important surprises. Do not copy another person's review, invent first-hand experience, post promotions, or include personal information.

You may keep one written review per title and edit or remove it on that page. Reviews and edits enter moderation before publication. An edit hides the previous public version and resets helpfulness votes. Mark a review helpful or not helpful based on its usefulness, not simply whether you agree with its score. Do not vote on your own review or manipulate votes.

Select Report beside an approved review to send a private report. Reporting does not automatically remove the review. The email and no-account illegal-content reporting paths below remain available for review content too.

When an eligible Prediction Pulse appears, you do not need an account before your first structured vote. Pixel Twelve is not directed to children under 13, and readers under 13 must not submit a prediction vote. Choose only from the listed options; polls accept no free text and offer no prize, reward, or payment.

One first-party poll cookie may remain for up to 120 days for duplicate prevention, same-browser readback and same-browser withdrawal. The database uses a poll-scoped HMAC, and the anonymous vote is not linked to an account or correlated across polls. Clearing the cookie removes ownership proof and duplicate recognition.

The original browser identity may withdraw a vote, but withdrawal is terminal for that browser identity in that poll and it cannot vote again. Raw vote rows are removed 90 days after resolution and no later than 180 days after the poll closes; aggregate rows are removed within 30 days after the Pulse is archived unless a separately disclosed non-personal rule applies.

An eligible signed-in reader may explicitly save an accepted vote to private prediction history and remove an individual saved prediction later. Account deletion includes that private history. Comments, theories, profiles, reputation, and every persistent contribution require an eligible account. Coordinated manipulation, automated voting, safety-control evasion, and attempts to distort real totals are prohibited. Contact hello@pixeltwelve.com for contestability, deletion, or privacy help.

Disagreement is welcome. Personal attacks are not. Explain why you agree or disagree, add evidence or experience when it helps, and leave room for other readers to enjoy something differently.

Do not harass, threaten, stalk, shame, bully, or target a person or group. Hate speech, slurs, dehumanizing language, sexual harassment, and encouragement of violence are not allowed.

Do not post your age, real name, email address, phone number, school, workplace, home address, precise location, passwords, account credentials, private messages, or other sensitive personal details.

Do not share another person's private information, even if it appears elsewhere online. Pixel Twelve may reject or remove a comment to protect the reader or another person.

Do not post explicit sexual descriptions, sexual solicitation, requests for nude images, or sexual harassment in comments or written reviews. Any sexual content involving minors is prohibited. Discuss mature themes in games, films, and shows without graphic sexual language or targeting other people.

Give readers a clear spoiler warning before discussing major story events, endings, secret characters, puzzle solutions, or other meaningful surprises. A vague warning placed after the spoiler does not help. Unmarked spoilers may be rejected or removed.

Do not post repetitive promotions, referral schemes, misleading links, scams, malware, fake giveaways, account-trading offers, or requests for money or credentials.

Do not impersonate Pixel Twelve, its writers or moderators, another reader, a public figure, a company, or an official game, movie, studio, or platform account.

Keep comments connected to the page or the conversation around it. Low-effort disagreement is not automatically a violation, but repeated disruption, copied text, flooding, coordinated manipulation, or deliberate attempts to derail discussion may be rejected.

New comments, written reviews, and review edits are checked automatically when the service is available. Clear cases can be approved or rejected automatically; uncertain cases and failed checks remain private until a moderator reviews them. We accept all languages, but automated accuracy varies. Negative opinions and low scores are allowed.

Automated decisions can be wrong. Moderators can override them, and you can ask for a review at hello@pixeltwelve.com. Mark spoilers clearly and do not include private information; an automated approval is not a guarantee that every guideline was met.

Comments enter a private review queue before publication. A submitted comment is not visible to readers while it is pending. Pixel Twelve may approve, reject, unpublish, or remove material under these guidelines, the Terms of Use, or applicable law.

Moderation considers the words used, context, privacy, safety, spoilers, repeated behavior, and the likely effect on the conversation. Approval of one comment does not require approval of a similar comment in a different context.

When community reporting is available, a signed-in reader can select Report beside an approved comment. A report starts a private review and does not automatically hide or delete the comment.

Email hello@pixeltwelve.com to report a comment when the in-product tool is unavailable, request removal of your own comment, ask for account deletion, report an account that may belong to a child under 13, or appeal a moderation decision. Include the page URL and enough detail to identify the material, but do not copy unnecessary personal information into the message. Pixel Twelve may ask for reasonable verification before acting on an account or privacy request.

Anyone can report material they believe is illegal without signing in by using the Report Illegal Content page. That path explains the information needed for a precise notice, acknowledgment, decision, and reconsideration request.

Approved comments may remain public until removed. Pixel Twelve may retain limited pending, rejected, removed, or reported material when reasonably needed for moderation, safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Privacy and deletion requests are handled under the Privacy Policy.

Pixel Twelve may update these guidelines as the community, product, and safety needs change. The current version will remain available on this page with its effective date.
