Privacy Policy

This policy applies to pixeltwelve.com, public Pixel Twelve pages, reader accounts, community comments, update signup forms, contact paths, advertising inquiry forms, editorial correction requests, rights concerns, accessibility feedback, and links from the website to Pixel Twelve social channels.

This policy does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites, social networks, stores, video platforms, publishers, studios, analytics providers, or other services that Pixel Twelve may link to or embed.

You may choose to provide information when you sign up for Pixel Twelve updates, email Pixel Twelve, use a contact path, submit an advertising or partnership inquiry, report a correction, send a rights concern, or provide accessibility feedback.

Depending on the request, that information may include your name, company, email address, update interests, phone number, campaign details, budget range, message content, source material, page URLs, and any other details you decide to include.

When reader accounts are available, you may provide a private sign-in email, confirm that you are at least 13, and accept the Community Guidelines, Terms of Use, and this Privacy Policy. Pixel Twelve assigns a unique public username when the account is created, and you may change it later. Pixel Twelve does not ask for a date of birth in the current account flow.

A signed-in reader may choose to save a story or guide, follow a guide hub, mark a supported game chapter or objective complete, or give a game a personal rating. Pixel Twelve stores the page path, title, optional image and summary, the selected action, and the time of that action so the item can appear in the reader's private library. A game rating also contributes its numeric value to the public community average and rating count for that game.

If you use community reporting or account-deletion request tools when they are available, you may also provide a report reason, optional details, a deletion-request reason, and the confirmation needed to submit that request.

When you visit Pixel Twelve, the site and its service providers may receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from network data, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, performance signals, and security events.

We use this information to deliver the site, keep pages reliable, understand broad readership patterns, protect the service, troubleshoot errors, and improve the user experience.

Pixel Twelve and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, logs, or similar technologies for security, performance, routing, analytics, consent management, advertising, and basic site functionality. Technologies that are required to deliver or protect the site may operate independently of optional analytics or advertising choices.

Where consent applies, optional Google analytics and advertising technologies are controlled through the privacy choices presented on the site. You can revisit those choices through the privacy settings made available by the consent message and can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

Pixel Twelve uses Cloudflare for hosting, worker delivery, routing, security, performance, and analytics. Cloudflare may process technical data to deliver pages, cache assets, block malicious traffic, protect against abuse, and measure site performance.

Cloudflare services may use network, device, request, and security signals to provide those functions. Pixel Twelve uses these services to keep the public website fast, available, and safer for readers.

Pixel Twelve uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, visits, referral sources, page performance, and site health. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first and states that Cloudflare Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data.

Pixel Twelve also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand readership, sessions, referral sources, approximate location, browser and device information, and engagement with public pages. The Google Analytics tag starts with analytics and advertising storage denied and updates those settings when the site's Google consent system reports the applicable privacy choice.

While consent is denied or unresolved, Google Analytics does not store analytics or advertising cookies for Pixel Twelve, but may send cookieless consent-state and measurement signals to Google. When the applicable purposes are granted or do not apply, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and similar identifiers to distinguish browsers and sessions.

Pixel Twelve does not intentionally include account email addresses, public display names, comment text, authentication tokens, or account identifiers in analytics events. Community account information is not used to create a public analytics profile.

When community features are available, Pixel Twelve uses Firebase Authentication to offer Google sign-in and a passwordless email-link option. Authentication providers may process the information needed to verify the account. Pixel Twelve receives a verified account identifier and related sign-in information, including the account email, but does not display the email publicly.

Pixel Twelve assigns each new reader account a unique public username. A reader may change that username later, subject to availability and the Community Guidelines. Public comments show the username, comment text, and publication time. They do not show the account email, authentication provider, provider photo, private account identifier, or moderator identity.

Every comment is reviewed before it can appear publicly. Pending or rejected comments are not shown to readers. Pixel Twelve may reject or remove comments that disclose personal information, contain harassment, threats, hate, spam, scams, unmarked spoilers, impersonation, or otherwise violate the Community Guidelines.

When the relevant community tools are available, a signed-in reader can report an approved comment in the product and can submit an account-deletion request from the account area. A deletion request is a request for review and processing; submitting it, or recording an administrative acceptance, does not itself delete the account or its data. Deletion is completed and verified through a separate manual process.

Email remains available as a fallback. To report a comment, request removal, ask for account deletion, or follow up on a request, contact hello@pixeltwelve.com with enough information for Pixel Twelve to identify and review the request. Do not include unnecessary personal information.

Saved stories and guides, followed guide hubs, game-progress choices, and each reader's game and TV rating history are private account data. Pixel Twelve does not show another reader's library, progress, account identity, or personal score beside a public community rating.

Game and TV series pages may show a public community average and the number of ratings. That projection contains only the combined rating total and count; it does not contain a display name, email, authentication provider, or public link to an individual rating. When a title has only one rating, its public average will equal that score, but it is not linked to an account identity.

A signed-in reader can remove a saved item, unfollow a guide hub, change a game-progress choice, change a game or TV rating, or remove a rating from the account area or the relevant page. Changing or removing a rating updates both the private library record and the public community average and count.

A verified account email is only added to Pixel Twelve email updates when the reader selects the separate, optional newsletter choice during account creation.

Pixel Twelve does not automatically resubscribe an address that previously unsubscribed. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe path.

Pixel Twelve may offer advertising, sponsorships, affiliate links, brand partnerships, sponsored editorial packages, social campaigns, or related commercial programs. Pixel Twelve uses Google's Privacy & Messaging service to present and record applicable privacy choices and may use Google AdSense to deliver advertising.

Where consent is required, Google advertising storage, personalization, and user-data purposes remain subject to the choices presented through the consent message. Google and participating advertising providers may process device, browser, network, page, and interaction information according to their own policies and the consent signals they receive.

If future advertising, affiliate, or sponsored-content partners involve additional data practices, Pixel Twelve will disclose those practices where appropriate. We do not claim that every external advertiser or partner follows the same privacy practices as Pixel Twelve.

Pixel Twelve links to social platforms, including Instagram, and may link to trailers, stores, studios, publishers, distributors, streaming platforms, or other third-party services.

When you interact with Pixel Twelve through a third-party platform, that platform's own terms, privacy policy, cookies, analytics, and account settings apply. Pixel Twelve does not control those external systems.

Articles and reference pages may include external links, embedded media, screenshots, trailers, official stores, source links, or other third-party materials for editorial context.

Opening or interacting with third-party content may allow that third party to collect information according to its own policies. Readers should review third-party terms and privacy policies when using those services.

Pixel Twelve may use information to operate and improve the website, authenticate reader accounts, maintain private reader libraries and public display names, review and moderate comments, process comment reports and account-deletion requests, send requested updates, respond to inquiries, review corrections, manage business conversations, evaluate advertising requests, protect site security, measure aggregate readership, troubleshoot technical problems, and maintain appropriate records.

We may also use information to enforce policies, comply with applicable legal obligations, preserve rights, or investigate suspected misuse of the site.

Pixel Twelve may share information with service providers that help operate hosting, security, authentication, account data storage, analytics, email, business communication, advertising inquiry handling, or technical support. Those providers, including Cloudflare, Google, and Firebase, process information for operational purposes connected to the services they provide.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transaction involving Pixel Twelve or Blanc Media LLC. We do not sell reader contact messages as a standalone product.

Pixel Twelve keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the site, respond to requests, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce policies, comply with legal obligations, and protect the service.

Community profiles and private library items remain available while the account is active or until the reader removes the applicable item. Approved comments may remain public until they are removed. Pending, rejected, or removed comments and limited moderation records may be retained when reasonably needed to prevent abuse, document a moderation decision, resolve a dispute, protect users, or meet legal obligations.

When the account-deletion request tool is available, it submits a request for manual review and processing; it does not automatically delete an account or data. Administrative acceptance records a decision but is not proof of deletion. Pixel Twelve completes and verifies the applicable deletion steps separately. A reader may also request account or comment deletion at hello@pixeltwelve.com. Pixel Twelve may retain the minimum information required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Pixel Twelve uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the website and information connected to it. No internet service, email exchange, hosting system, or analytics service can be guaranteed completely secure.

If you contact us about a sensitive issue, avoid sending unnecessary personal information, payment data, passwords, or confidential materials unless we specifically request them through an appropriate channel.

Pixel Twelve is a general-audience entertainment publication and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Creating a public commenting profile requires an affirmation that the reader is at least 13. Pixel Twelve does not collect a date of birth in the current commenting-profile flow. An age affirmation is not a substitute for a parent, guardian, platform, or legal requirement that may apply in a reader's location.

If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, submitted a comment, or provided personal information to Pixel Twelve, contact hello@pixeltwelve.com so we can review the request and take appropriate steps.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or limits on certain uses of personal information. When community features are available, the account area may let a signed-in reader submit an account-deletion request, but it is not an automatic deletion control or a complete privacy-request portal.

Pixel Twelve is operated from the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, information connected to your use of the site may be processed in the United States or in other locations where our service providers operate.
