Rebel Wolves is already staffing up for more Dawnwalker. Narrative director Jakub Szamałek is looking for a Lead Writer to help create “the next chapter in the Dawnwalker saga,” days after the first game passed one million copies sold.
The sales milestone came three days after launch. For a new studio releasing a new fantasy world, that is a fast start—and a clear reason to begin planning what follows it.
This is not a formal announcement of The Blood of Dawnwalker 2. Rebel Wolves has not revealed a title, format, release window, or platforms for the next chapter.
What is Rebel Wolves hiring for?
The studio has listed a Lead Writer position based in Warsaw or available remotely. Szamałek said the new hire will work with him and the narrative team on the next part of the Dawnwalker saga.
A Lead Writer usually joins early enough to shape story structure, characters, quests, and the work of the wider writing team. The opening shows that Rebel Wolves is building its narrative staff for another Dawnwalker project, even if the studio is not ready to name it.

How strong was The Blood of Dawnwalker’s launch?
Rebel Wolves announced that The Blood of Dawnwalker sold more than one million copies within three days. The game launched on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, giving the studio a broad audience from the start.
The number is especially strong for a first release from a new studio. Pixel Twelve’s review of The Blood of Dawnwalker found plenty to like in its storytelling and 30-day structure, while also questioning how fully the game used its time system.
Selling a million copies does not tell us how many players bought the game on each platform or what the final lifetime total will be. It does show that Dawnwalker found a large audience quickly enough for its creators to talk openly about continuing the saga.

Is the next chapter definitely a sequel?
Not yet. “Next chapter” strongly points to more story in the same world, but Rebel Wolves has not said whether it will be a full sequel, an expansion, or another kind of project.
Calling the project The Blood of Dawnwalker 2 would be premature. The studio may continue Coen’s story, move to another era, or follow a different character. None of those choices has been announced.
When could Rebel Wolves reveal more?
There is no reveal date. Hiring a Lead Writer suggests the next project is still early enough for its story team to grow, so fans should not expect a trailer soon.

One million sales gave Rebel Wolves a strong opening. The job listing shows the studio is already acting on it. The next Dawnwalker project does not have a name yet, but the series is no longer being treated like a one-game experiment. What would you want from the next chapter?
