Palworld v1.0.3 is live, and its best changes are aimed at the parts of version 1.0 that felt slower than they needed to be. World Tree Holy Water is easier to find and carry, crude oil extractors work faster, some Jetragon technology now unlocks at level 70, and trees give twice as much Fiber.
Pocketpair also fixed a Sunreach mission blocker, several co-op and dedicated-server problems, Pals refusing to fight or work, awkward stair placement, and a long list of item and display bugs. This is not a new-content update, but it should make the current endgame much smoother.
World Tree Holy Water is easier to farm

World Tree Holy Water received the largest group of changes in v1.0.3. Pocketpair extended its duration and reduced its weight from 1 to 0.1, so a stack takes far less space in your carry limit.
The item can now appear as a reward from:
- World Tree expeditions
- World Tree fishing
- The Large Fishing Pond
- Pals found in The World Tree area
- Teafant Spring
The last two sources were already available, but the update increases the amount they provide. Players are no longer pushed toward one narrow farming loop every time their supply runs low.
If you have not reached the area yet, our Sunreach and World Tree route guide explains the trip and the preparation you need before entering.
Crude oil production is faster and cheaper
Both the regular Crude Oil Extractor and the High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor now produce oil faster. Pocketpair also reduced the building costs of those two extractors and the Large Power Generator.
The patch notes do not give exact new costs or production rates, so players will need to compare the updated recipes inside their own Technology menu. The direction is clear, though: setting up oil production takes fewer materials, and a working base should generate more oil over the same amount of time.
