EA Sports FC 27 Creator Challenges: How to Create, Share, and Play

EA Sports FC 27 Creator Challenges let players build their own Manager Career scenarios, publish them to the game, and share them with a code that works across platforms. The creation tools run in a web browser, while playing and discovering challenges happens inside Manager Live.

You can choose teams, leagues, competitions, a start date, objectives, and restrictions. That makes it possible to build a short survival job, a multi-season road to glory, a youth-only rebuild, or a rule set based on a real football story.

How to create an FC 27 Creator Challenge

1. Open My Challenges in Manager Live

Start inside FC 27 Career Mode and open the My Challenges tab in Manager Live. The game displays a QR code for the Creator Portal.

2. Scan the QR code

Use a phone or tablet to scan the code, or open the portal on a computer. The portal is browser-based, so the scenario can be designed away from the console while remaining connected to the EA account used in FC 27.

3. Name and describe the scenario

Give the challenge a clear title and short description that explains the main story. A useful name tells players the club, restriction, or goal before they open the full details.

4. Choose compatible teams and competitions

Select the leagues, clubs, national teams, and cup competitions that can use the scenario. You can also set a start date or allow a full-career beginning. The official preview shows options for Create Your Club challenges as well.

5. Add objectives and restrictions

Objectives define success, while restrictions create the difficulty. A challenge might require promotion in two seasons, limit transfers to one country, demand a minimum number of academy players, or combine several rules.

6. Publish and copy the Share Code

Publishing sends the challenge to FC 27 and creates a unique Share Code. The code can be entered in Manager Live on another platform, so a console player can share a scenario with friends on PC or another supported console.

How many Creator Challenges can you publish?

EA says every Manager Career player can keep at least ten Creator Challenges published at once. A published scenario can be deleted to free a slot for a new one.

The official edition terms list five additional Manager Live Challenge Creation slots with the Ultimate Edition, Ultimate Plus Edition, and EA Play Pro content. That means the bonus increases creation capacity; it is not required to use Creator Challenges or play community scenarios.

How to play a shared challenge

Open Manager Live and enter the unique Share Code. The challenge loads with its creator’s teams, objectives, restrictions, and start conditions. You can also send a completed challenge to EA Friends from the Challenge Completion screen.

Share Codes work across platforms. The challenge itself uses Career Mode data and conditions rather than transferring a saved game from one system to another.

How challenge discovery works

The Manager Live Hub expands from 15 to 30 tabs, and each tab can show up to 20 challenges instead of five. Filters can narrow the results by league, country, team, and other preferences.

Community creations, popular scenarios, and challenges made by Career Mode creators may be highlighted. After finishing a challenge, players can upvote it from the completion screen. Strong voting can help a scenario reach a featured area of the Hub.

Tracking your published challenges

My Challenges acts as the creator dashboard. It shows every published scenario, how many times each one has been played, and how many upvotes it received. A Featured banner appears when EA selects a challenge for wider placement in the Manager Live Hub.

Creators can access, play, share, or delete their own challenges from this area. Deleting an old scenario is the normal way to make room after reaching the account’s published-slot limit.

Original FC 27 challenge ideas

• Academy-only road to glory: Start in a lower league, stop permanent first-team transfers after the opening window, and win the top division with academy graduates.
• One-nation rebuild: Use only players from one country while trying to win a continental competition.
• Sell before you buy: Require a transfer profit every season and allow a new signing only after an outgoing sale.
• Veteran rescue job: Take over a struggling club and use only players aged 30 or older for the first season.
• Homegrown Champions League: Reach and win the Champions League with a required number of club-trained starters.
• No-reload relegation battle: Begin from a difficult live start point, disable restarts as a personal rule, and survive with the existing squad.
• Rival transfer ban: Rebuild a club without buying from local or historic rivals, matching the stricter club relationships in FC 27.

Tips for making a challenge people finish

• Explain the main rule first: Players should understand the scenario in one sentence before reading smaller restrictions.
• Avoid too many conditions: Five clever rules are usually easier to follow than fifteen rules that overlap.
• Match difficulty to the time limit: A difficult squad restriction needs enough seasons to remain possible.
• Use flexible team filters when appropriate: Allowing several clubs or leagues gives more players a reason to try the scenario.
• Test the challenge yourself: A creator can open and play a published challenge before sharing it widely.
• Write for cross-platform players: Do not base the instructions on controller buttons that differ between systems.

Moderation and hiding community content

Creator Challenges include reporting tools. EA can remove inappropriate content, and accounts with repeated removals may lose access to creation features. Players who do not want community scenarios can hide all Creator Challenge content from the Manager Live Hub and keep only EA-made challenges visible.

When will Creator Challenges be available?

EA says Creator Challenges will be ready when FC 27 Early Access begins on September 18, 2026. The global Standard Edition release follows on September 25.
