What is the IKEA Skyrim mod?
KALLAX STORAGEBORN is an official free Creation developed by Kinggath Creations for IKEA. Skyrim uses “Creation” for downloadable add-ons distributed through Bethesda’s system; players will still commonly find it by searching for an IKEA or KALLAX mod.
The story starts with rumors about a hidden workshop near Falkreath. Inside Storereach, blue-and-yellow automatons continue working around an underground showroom. Players search for an instruction manual, a mysterious soul gem, the Staff of Assembly and three missing parts before bringing KALLAX to life.

How do you start the KALLAX quest?
Becoming over-encumbered can trigger an apparition that points toward the workshop near Falkreath. You can also ask an innkeeper for work and receive a note about Storereach, or discover the entrance while exploring.
A branded crate in Riverwood provides a direct option for players who want the encumbrance trigger. The crate is deliberately heavy enough to exceed the character’s carry limit. After entering Storereach, the Staff of Assembly helps locate the components required to finish KALLAX.
What can KALLAX do?
KALLAX carries weapons, armor, ingredients, books and other supplies. Its capacity increases after an early upgrade and reaches its final level when the main questline is complete. The official page does not publish a numeric maximum, so players should not assume a specific unlimited value.
Stored items can appear on the shelves while KALLAX travels. Each compartment displays certain item types, turning part of the inventory into visible equipment instead of keeping everything inside a normal menu.
A later quest teaches KALLAX to tidy. In player homes and other supported locations, it can return displaced physics objects to their original positions. After its final upgrade, it can also search for nearby unowned items, pick them up and add them to storage while following you.
KALLAX uses Skyrim’s pet system and does not occupy the standard follower slot. It will not attack enemies. Asking it for help during combat grants a carry-weight bonus, and the three-word Summon KALLAX Shout teleports it to your location.

What do the quests and dungeons add?
The package contains a fully voiced three-quest story and two dungeons: the abandoned Storereach workshop and the Agglomerated Archives. The second area is filled with collected clutter that has taken on a life of its own, including new enemies and a boss encounter.
Rewards include the Staff of Assembly, the Allenblade, Svalinn’s Smärtstoppare, armor for KALLAX, new weapons, enchanted equipment, a conjuration spell, food and hidden joke items. IKEA’s campaign also names a Meatball Helmet among the custom loot.

Where can you download KALLAX STORAGEBORN?
PC and Xbox players can download it for free from Bethesda Creations. The official IKEA page says it works with Skyrim Special Edition and requires a Creations account. It can be found through Bethesda’s website or from the Creations menu in the game.
PlayStation support is not live yet. IKEA says those players will be able to join soon, without giving a release day. The official pages do not list a separate version for Nintendo Switch.
The existing Skyrim game page explains the differences between Special Edition, Anniversary Edition and the Anniversary Upgrade. Owning Anniversary Edition should not be treated as proof that every later Creation is already installed.
What is still unconfirmed?
The current official pages do not give a PlayStation release date, download size, version number, complete language list, achievement behavior, load-order advice or a compatibility list for other Creations and mods. They also describe capacity upgrades without publishing the final number.
Save before installing any new Creation and check Bethesda’s current listing for updates. Players starting a new character can use the Skyrim first 10 hours guide for the route from Helgen through Riverwood and Whiterun before heading toward Falkreath.
