The Grounds connects to Clubs as a social football playground where players can join kickabouts, compete in 1v1 matches, develop their footballer, and meet friends away from the main stadium experience. The mode is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, but not on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Gameplay changes include dynamic corners, improved attacking awareness, and defending designed to give players more direct control.

Manager Career receives a rebuilt transfer market with more realistic values, active bidding from other clubs, new contract clauses, and Dynamic Overall Ratings influenced by form, morale, and fitness. Football Ultimate Team adds the FUT Gallery, where collected Player Items contribute to a separate Gallery Level and rewards. FC 27 includes more than 21,000 licensed players across over 800 clubs and national teams, with versions for current and previous-generation consoles, Nintendo Switch systems, and PC.
