Tetsuryō! meet with Tetsudō Musume will begin its journey on October 8, and the new trailer finally shows what its railway club does once the train starts moving.
The original anime follows four college students who travel together and meet Railway Girls along the way. Those characters are tied to different railway companies and jobs, giving the series a reason to explore stations, trains and the people who keep them running.
The story starts with Misaki
Misaki Sata joins the club trip without having a clear answer about her future. As she travels with Kodama Orihara, Ushio Yagami and Usa Harutachi, the encounters begin to show her how many different lives can grow around the railway world.
Who’s who in Tetsuryō!
The setup makes this more than a collection of train facts. Misaki’s uncertainty gives the journey an emotional direction. Each stop can introduce a new Railway Girl while also pushing Misaki to think about what kind of work and life she wants after college.

When and where it premieres
Tetsuryō! premieres in Japan on October 8, 2026. TOKYO MX and BS Fuji will carry the series in a late-night Thursday slot. HIDIVE has announced the anime for its fall 2026 streaming season, although availability can vary by region.
Misuzu Hoshino directs at East Fish Studio. Aya Satsuki handles the series composition, Naofumi Hashimoto designs the characters and Sonosuke Takao composes the music. The anime is based on TOMYTEC’s Tetsudō Musume character project, with original cooperation from writer Kisetsu Morita.
An exact episode count has not been announced. The official materials also do not confirm a second season or any feature-length project.
