Tougen Anki returns October 2, 2026, with the Nikko Kegon Falls Arc. A new trailer shows Shiki Ichinose and his allies entering another fight with the Momotaro Agency, this time in the snowy mountains around Nikko.

The anime will air Fridays at 11:30 p.m. in Nippon TV’s Friday Anime Night block in Japan. Crunchyroll will stream the new arc worldwide, excluding Japan and China.

Three new Momotaro fighters join the cast

Kenichi Suzumura voices Kusabi Momoura, Yuki Kaji voices Hizumi Momotsugi and Kisho Taniyama voices Senritsu Momoo. The three characters expand the Momotaro side of the conflict and appear throughout the new trailer.

The footage also brings back Shiki and the students connected to Rasetsu Academy. They are descendants of Oni, people who can turn their blood into weapons. The Momotaro Agency hunts them as part of a war that has continued for generations.

Shiki entered that war after learning that he carried Oni blood. His foster father’s death pushed him toward revenge, but his training introduced him to other Oni with their own reasons for fighting. The Nikko Kegon Falls Arc moves that group into a new mission and puts more Momotaro officers in their path.

Nikko gives the next battle a winter setting

The trailer uses snow-covered forests, red shrine gates and mountain views to establish the new location. The clean white setting makes the anime’s red blood powers stand out during the fights.

The opening theme is “BACKLASH” by Hiromitsu Kitayama. TRACK15 performs the ending theme, “Hand in Hand.” Both songs can be heard in the new promotional video.

Studio Hibari returns for the new arc

Ato Nonaka directs Tougen Anki at Studio Hibari, with Hiroyuki Hashimoto serving as assistant director. Yukie Sugawara handles the series composition and scripts, Ryoko Amisaki designed the characters, Scott MacDonald is the art director and KOHTA YAMAMOTO composes the music.

The anime is based on Yura Urushibara’s manga, which runs in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion. Yen Press publishes the English edition as Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood.

The October date places the new arc only weeks away. Viewers outside Japan and China will be able to follow it on Crunchyroll from the premiere. The official global site also lists Prime Video, Netflix and other regional services for the wider Tougen Anki series, though availability differs by country. New episodes will continue the same central Oni conflict.
