Mafia: Definitive Edition Gets 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

You do not need to buy The Omertà Collection just to get the 60 FPS version if your existing copy qualifies. The bundle is a separate purchase built around owning the full series.

The bundle contains four games and their major add-ons:

• Mafia: The Old Country Definitive Edition, including the Man of Honor expansion and Deluxe Edition content.
• Mafia: Definitive Edition, with the native PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version on those consoles.
• Mafia II: Definitive Edition, including all DLC.
• Mafia III: Definitive Edition, including all DLC.

Mafia: The Old Country Definitive Edition replaces the old Deluxe Edition. Its biggest addition is the Man of Honor expansion, which adds two story chapters and new Free Ride content.

The collection covers four different eras, from Sicily in 1904 through New Bordeaux in 1968. It is also digital-only, so there is no physical four-game set to place beside the older Mafia: Trilogy box.

How the introductory price and ownership discounts work

2K says The Omertà Collection launches with a temporary introductory price, but the announcement sends buyers to their regional storefront for the exact amount. The introductory offer ends August 28 on Steam and PS5, and August 25 on Xbox Series X|S.

Steam uses Complete Your Collection pricing, automatically lowering the price when one or more included games are already owned. PlayStation and Xbox also offer discounts for players who own Mafia: Definitive Edition, Mafia II: Definitive Edition, or Mafia III: Definitive Edition on the same platform.

Owning Mafia: The Old Country on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S unlocks a larger discount. PlayStation users need to check through a browser, the PlayStation App, or a PS5 because the new collection will not appear on the PS4 storefront.

Is the collection worth buying if you already own Mafia?

If all you want is Mafia: Definitive Edition at 60 FPS, check whether your current copy qualifies for the free upgrade before buying anything. That is the cleanest option for returning players, even with the missing save transfer.

The collection makes more sense when several games are missing from your library or when you also want The Old Country and Man of Honor. Mixed ownership is where the storefront discount becomes important, because there is no single price that fits every account.
