End of Abyss arrives October 1, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC through the Epic Games Store. The game follows Cel, a young combat technician sent to investigate strange activity in an underground facility. She finds abandoned areas full of creatures and has to work out what happened there.

What kind of game is End of Abyss?

It is a single-player action adventure seen mostly from above. Cel explores connected rooms, fights creatures and upgrades her equipment as she moves deeper into the complex. The screenshots show cramped industrial corridors, dark tunnels and fights against several enemies at once.

The facility is not a straight path. Cel gets a Scanner and other tools that help her find hidden areas. Upgrades let her return to earlier corridors and reach places she could not enter before.

What does the story follow?

Cel starts with an investigation into disturbances of unknown origin. The mission takes her through damaged machinery and abandoned parts of the complex. The official description says she will uncover the truth behind the facility, but it has not revealed what caused the disaster. The creatures in the screenshots give a clear idea of what she will face along the way.

Section 9 Interactive is based in Malmö, Sweden. The small team is developing the game, while Epic Games Publishing is publishing it. The studio’s site confirms the same October 1 date across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Where can you play it, and what is the rating?

The PC version is listed on the Epic Games Store for Windows. PlayStation has a PS5 listing, and the developer also confirms Xbox Series X|S. The US Epic store lists an ESRB Teen rating for Blood and Violence. That is the US age rating; other regions may use a different classification system.

PlayStation lists one-player play and DualSense vibration and trigger support on PS5. It also lists subtitles for the main story, adjustable stick sensitivity and a pause option during offline play. The Epic store lists Windows 10 as the minimum operating system and a 5.29 GB SSD installation size. Check the store for your platform before release if those details matter to you.

The game is available to pre-order on the official stores. There are no player reviews yet because End of Abyss has not launched. The screenshots and store details give the clearest look at its combat and exploration until players can try the finished version on October 1.
