If you are searching for a GTA 6 PC release date, the honest answer is frustratingly short: Rockstar has not announced one. The game has a confirmed console date, but PC is still missing from the official platform list.

That does not prove a PC version will never happen. It only means there is no date, preorder, store page, price, or system-requirements sheet that PC players can treat as official today.

GTA 6 PC status at a glance

Does GTA 6 have a PC release date?

No. Rockstar’s current support page says GTA 6 can be preordered for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its launch announcement sets November 19, 2026 as the release date for those consoles. Neither page names PC.

A console date should not be copied over and presented as a PC date. If you see November 19 attached to a Steam or Epic listing, check who created the page. Rockstar has not said the PC version will launch alongside the console editions.

Is GTA 6 coming to PC at all?

Rockstar has not announced a GTA 6 PC version, so there is no official yes to quote yet. There is also no official statement saying PC has been cancelled or permanently excluded.

The publisher has brought major games such as GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 to PC after their console debuts. That history explains why many players expect GTA 6 to follow, but it cannot supply a release year. Each launch has its own technical work, business plan, and marketing schedule.

Treat a future PC version as a reasonable expectation, not a confirmed product with a date. The moment Rockstar names PC in a Newswire post, support page, earnings release, or store listing, the answer changes. Until then, countdowns are guesses.

What about Steam, Epic Games Store, and Rockstar Games Launcher?

Rockstar has not announced which PC storefronts would carry GTA 6. There is no confirmed Steam launch, Epic Games Store launch, or Rockstar Games Launcher release to compare.

That also means there is no official answer about launch-day exclusivity, cross-store progression, preload timing, refunds, cloud saves, or whether a Rockstar account will be required. Those details belong to a future PC announcement, not to the console preorder pages.

GTA 6 PC system requirements are not official

Any GTA 6 PC requirements circulating now are estimates. Rockstar has not published a minimum GPU, recommended CPU, RAM target, storage size, operating-system requirement, or ray-tracing tier for PC.

A believable-looking table is still not official if it does not come from Rockstar or a verified store page. Be especially careful with pages that ask you to download a “performance checker,” reserve a key, or enter payment details before a PC product has been announced.

Can you preorder GTA 6 on PC?

No official PC preorder is open. Rockstar’s June preorder rollout covers PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Standard and Ultimate editions. A seller offering a Steam key, Epic key, or Rockstar Launcher key is not part of that confirmed program.

The console box is unusual too: Rockstar says the physical Standard Edition contains a download code instead of a disc. Our GTA 6 physical edition explainer breaks down how that version works without confusing it with a PC code.

When could Rockstar announce a PC version?

There is no reliable announcement window. Rockstar could discuss PC before the console release, after launch, or much later. Past release gaps do not create a promise for this game.

The useful signals will be obvious: PC will appear on Rockstar’s platform list, an official product page will name a storefront, and the company will publish real specifications and purchase details. A retailer placeholder or anonymous social post is not the same thing.

What PC players should do now

Keep your expectations flexible and avoid spending money around an unannounced version. If you already plan to play on console, use the confirmed platform pages. If PC is your only choice, waiting is safer than buying hardware or keys based on leaked requirement tables.

Rockstar’s own Newswire and support pages are the places to watch. We will update this guide when the company gives PC players an actual date, store, or specification instead of a rumor.
