Noiseform is one of the strongest rods in Fisch, but unlocking it takes a long chain of catches, weather conditions, travel, and a final collection quest. Several older walkthroughs now show requirements that do not match the current game. This guide follows the quest as it appeared on July 30, 2026 and points out the steps that can stop your progress.
Before you begin, make sure you can reach the Shady Bazaar, Hawaii, and Hades Underworld. You will also need access to difficult fish and mutations. This is an endgame quest. New players should improve their level, bestiaries, rods, and money first.
How to Start the Noiseform Quest
Wait for a Cursed Storm, then go to the Shady Bazaar. Find and light the cyan candles around the area. Talk to the Mysterious Shadow after the candles are active. The Shadow gives you three collection stages, one after another.
The event condition is important. If the candles or character are not behaving as expected, confirm that a Cursed Storm is active before assuming the quest is broken.
Mysterious Shadow Quest Requirements
First collection: give the Shadow a Blossomed Kraken and a Sunken Megalodon. The current reference also accepts Ancient Kraken and Ancient Megalodon as alternatives.
Second collection: bring a Soultouched Styx Angler and a Jackpot Shimmering Silverside.
Third collection: bring a Requies Scylla. You must also catch a Leviathan with the Tranquility Rod, or catch a Duskwire while your rod has the Wobbly enchant. Read the wording carefully because owning the fish without meeting the required rod condition may not count.

Getting the Restricted Noiseform and Compact Disc
After the third collection, the Mysterious Shadow gives you a Restricted Noiseform. It is not the finished rod yet. Travel to Hawaii during another Cursed Storm and use the Restricted Noiseform to catch a Compact Disc.
Take the Compact Disc to Hades Underworld. Find the grave marked 1913 - 2013 to the left of the Olympian Fissure. Hold the interaction button while standing at the grave. You will be moved to an obstacle course. Finish it and speak to the Awakened Witch.
The grave and obstacle course are easy to miss if you are following an older video. Look for the exact date on the grave and keep the Compact Disc in your inventory before interacting.
Awakened Witch Final List
The Witch asks for a second, harder collection. Prepare these items before returning:
- Three Glitched Bloop Fish.
- One Glitched Translucent Scylla.
- One Vitalic Olympian Devil.
- One Flowed Compact Disc.
- One Shiny Shrouded Anglers Lantern. Use Appraisal when you need to add the required traits.
- Seventy Wisps and fifty Dark Wisps.
Hand everything to the Awakened Witch to receive a Corrupted Disc. Bring that disc back to the Mysterious Shadow in the Shady Bazaar. The Shadow removes the restriction and gives you the complete Noiseform.

Noiseform Stats and Passives
The current Noiseform stats are 125% lure speed, 290% luck, zero control, 65% resilience, and unlimited maximum weight. It also has 22% progress speed, four disturbance, and zero durability. Zero durability means it cannot fish in lava, noxious liquid, or brine.
Its normal effects add progress and fish weight. It can apply Soultorn at 8.5x value and Flowed at 6.5x value. The rod also has a ghost effect and a fishing-zone system. Keeping the zones clean can add the Rhythmic mutation at 11x value.
Noiseform is powerful, but zero control makes the fishing bar less forgiving. Use an enchant that improves control or stability if difficult catches are giving you trouble. Do not choose an enchant only from a general rod list; solve the stat that is causing your failed catches.
Common Noiseform Problems
- The Shadow does not appear: wait for a Cursed Storm and check every cyan candle.
- A fish does not count: confirm the exact mutation, species, and required rod or enchant condition.
- The grave does nothing: carry the Compact Disc, stand at the 1913 - 2013 grave, and hold the interaction button.
- The final list looks different in an old guide: use the requirements shown here and compare them with your in-game quest text before trading rare fish.
Is Noiseform Worth Getting?
Yes, if you already have a strong endgame setup and want a rod built for valuable mutations and heavy fish. The quest asks for rare catches and a large Wisp total, so it is not a quick upgrade. Players who still need money, levels, or basic bestiaries will progress faster by improving those areas before starting the full chain. Keep every required mutation until the quest is finished.
