  • Physical Limited Edition: custom outer box, three-disc soundtrack in a Steelbook case and a hardcover art book with more than 100 pages.

The publisher has not announced a universal preorder bonus, early-access period or collector’s edition for PC. Edition availability and taxes can vary by region, so the official regional storefront remains the final price check.

Is Fate/EXTRA Record a remake or remaster?

Fate/EXTRA Record is a full remake of Fate/EXTRA, the 2010 dungeon-exploration RPG originally released on PSP. It is not a direct sequel and is not being presented as a simple resolution upgrade.

The remake expands the story, rebuilds environments and character models, adds full Japanese voice acting and uses a newly recorded score. Character designer Arco Wada returns, while original scenario writer Kinoko Nasu supervises the project.

What is the Moon Holy Grail War?

The story takes place in 2030 inside SE.RA.PH, a virtual environment created by the Moon Cell Automaton. The system selects 128 Masters and pairs each survivor with a Servant for a tournament whose winner can have a wish granted.

Players choose Saber, Archer or Caster as their Servant. Each follows the same central conflict from a different partnership, with distinct abilities and dialogue shaping how the journey feels.

How does the new Command Card battle system work?

The original game built combat around predicting attack patterns. Record revises that idea into a deck-building Command Card system: players assemble cards, choose an order and adapt the deck to the strengths of their Servant.

Official footage shows skills, card chains and resource decisions inside turn-based encounters. TYPE-MOON has not published a complete card list, difficulty breakdown or average campaign length.

Fate/EXTRA Record PC requirements and Steam Deck status

Steam lists Windows 11 and 31 GB of storage. The minimum CPU is an Intel Core i5-11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, paired with an RTX 2060, Radeon RX Vega 64 or Intel Arc A580-class GPU. The recommended tier moves to an i7-11700 or Ryzen 5 5600G and an RTX 3060 Ti, RX 7600 or Arc A750.

Steam has not published a Steam Deck compatibility rating. The store page also displays an anomalous memory figure, so this guide does not repeat it as a reliable requirement until the listing is corrected or clarified.

Japanese is the only listed full-audio language. Interface and subtitle support includes English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
