Editorial Standards

Advertising, sponsorships, affiliate links, review access, and business relationships do not determine our editorial conclusions.

We link to or name the original source whenever possible. We distinguish official announcements, confirmed facts, reports, rumors, and our own analysis. Information and quotations from other sources must be attributed.

News must present facts and sources clearly. Reviews must explain the reasons for criticism, praise, and scores. Opinion and commentary must not be presented as straight news reporting.

We say that we played, watched, tested, interviewed, or attended something only when that happened. When coverage is based on a trailer, public footage, an announcement, or another report, the article must say so.

We correct factual errors when we confirm them. Depending on the error, we may revise the article, change the headline, clarify the source, or add a correction note.

Pixel Twelve may use AI tools to organize research, prepare drafts, format content, support search, and assist production. Every article must be reviewed before publication. AI must not be used to invent sources, quotations, facts, or firsthand experience.

Paid articles, sponsored campaigns, and branded work must carry a clear label at the top of the page. Sponsors may check facts about their own products or campaigns, but they do not control independent reporting, reviews, scores, or criticism.

Some pages may contain links that earn Pixel Twelve a commission when a reader makes a qualifying purchase, at no additional cost to the reader. Those pages must show a plain-language disclosure near the recommendation and before or beside the first affiliate link. Commissions do not determine what we cover, recommend, score, or criticize. Prices and availability can change.

Writers, editors, and contributors must disclose paid relationships, gifts, travel, review access, personal relationships, or business ties that could affect the coverage.

Pixel Twelve may use screenshots, trailers, logos, key art, embeds, press materials, and other third-party media for news, identification, commentary, criticism, or other editorial purposes. Send rights concerns with the page URL and details about the material.

We update pages to correct errors, add new facts, improve instructions, or replace outdated links. Significant changes should be noted when they affect what readers understood from the original version.
