Edge of Memories finally has a day to circle: November 5, 2026. Xbox announced the date during its Tokyo Game Show presentation, and Nacon’s official game page now lists it too. The new trailer gives the news a vivid backdrop: Eline and her friends fighting through a world where a spreading disease changes both the land and its creatures.
This is a solo action RPG from Midgar Studio, published by Nacon. It is not another entry in a crowded multiplayer race. The draw is following one group across Avaris, learning what happened to the continent and finding out whether Eline can keep the Corrosion from consuming it.
Who is Eline?
Nacon describes Eline as an itinerant Soul Whisperer. The Corrosion has already devastated the Astryan continent and now threatens Avaris, where nomadic communities live. It twists the plants, animals and people caught in its path. After a mysterious encounter, Eline gains the dangerous ability to hold and control some of that power inside her own body.
That makes her more than a traveler trying to outrun a plague. Her power may be the thing that can stop it, but it also puts her close to what she is fighting. Ysoris, an unlikely mentor, and Kanta, a prince and shaman from a lost tribe, join her. The official battle screenshot shows the three facing a huge corrupted creature together.
What did the new trailer show?
The Tokyo Game Show footage moves from character moments into quick fights and broad views of the world. Xbox says the disease changes areas as the story moves forward, opening paths through places players have already visited. The trailer also puts the Japanese voice track in the spotlight. Xbox says players can choose English or Japanese audio.
Nacon’s own images show the contrast at the heart of the game. One view is full of flowers, trees and old stone ruins; another puts the party in front of a creature that looks thoroughly infected. The bright landscapes are not merely a break from combat. They show what Eline has a chance to save.
Which platforms are confirmed?
Nacon lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and a PC edition through Steam. Xbox’s announcement confirms its own console version and the November 5 date. The Nacon store has physical and digital editions listed, but availability and pricing vary by platform and region, so the date is the useful takeaway for now.
Midgar Studio’s earlier game Edge of Eternity gave this new project a recognizable visual lineage, but Edge of Memories has its own lead and setting. With a firm date now in place, the question is how its story and action feel across the whole journey, not just in a fast trailer.
