GameSpot reported on the discussion after players spotted apparent November 11 and November 12 dates for two Kirby Air Riders amiibo figures on Nintendo's UK store. The listing was later removed. The date appeared differently depending on regional clock settings, which is why both days have been mentioned online.
Where the November 12 Theory Comes From
The amiibo are not connected to Zelda. Fans are looking at when Nintendo releases amiibo, not which characters are on them. Several recent figures arrived on the same day as a first-party Switch 2 game. Mineru's Construct is scheduled for September 17 alongside Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, while King Dedede and Tank Star launched with Rhythm Heaven Groove earlier this year.
That pattern suggests Nintendo may have a first-party game planned for mid-November. Ocarina of Time is one of the major Switch 2 games that still has a broad 2026 window, so fans have placed it in the open slot. It is a reasonable guess, but it remains a guess. A date for an unrelated amiibo cannot confirm when Zelda will release.
