The Seer may look like Mistfall Hunter's dedicated support, but Renouncing the Oath changes the class completely. The Catalyst is replaced by a mace, healing runes give way to curses and sigils, and the patient back-line playstyle becomes an aggressive close-range build. This version is called the Blasphemer Seer.
The build below is designed for the current launch version. It uses Rune: Drain for sustain against players, Paralysis Curse and Impact Sigil to stop escapes, and Zeal to survive the moment when you commit to melee range. It is strong when you control the pace of a fight, but it is not a permanent invincibility mode. Good opponents will back away from Zeal and try to make you spend Curse Mana without reaching them.

This is a practical launch build, not a promise that every slot will stay best after future balance patches. Mistfall Hunter is a live PvPvE game, so check the skill text in your current version before spending rare materials on a perfect set.
How to switch the Seer to Blasphemer
Open the Skills menu at camp, select the Blasphemer side of the Seer tree, and choose Renounce Oath. The Seer will move from the Catalyst-based Reverent path to the mace-based Blasphemer path. If you want to return to healing and shielding later, use the same menu to Pledge the Oath again.
You cannot freely combine both versions during a match. Your current faith decides which weapon and skills are available when you enter the battlefield. Set the correct path, equip the mace, and confirm your active Rune before queuing.
How the Blasphemer Seer works

The build has two connected resources: Curse Mana and Zeal. Normal mace attacks recover Curse Mana, and the meter also refills outside Zeal. When Curse Mana is full, your heavy action changes into the enchanted heavy strike from your selected Rune.
Zeal is the commitment button. It gives the build a safer window to stay close, pressure a target, and use its enchanted attacks. Curse Mana stops regenerating automatically during Zeal, so you still need to land hits or use the talents that restore it. Activating Zeal with an empty resource bar and no target in reach usually wastes the strongest part of the kit.
Best weapon and jewelry
Use a mace, because Blasphemer skills are tied to that weapon path. For jewelry, start with an Attack Ring and Attack Necklace. The build deals magic damage through its attacks and Rune effects, so generic attack pieces support the full damage loop more reliably than physical-damage jewelry.
Do not judge a piece only by its quality color. A slightly lower item with the right affixes can be more useful than a shiny drop that boosts stats the build barely uses. Your first goal is a stable set that keeps you alive long enough to finish a Zeal window.
Best affixes and priority order
The cleanest order is Stoic, Tenacious, and Fervor first, then Strife, Blessing, and Seamless. The exact number of available slots depends on your gear, so treat the second group as flexible rather than mandatory.
Stoic
Blasphemer fights where enemy melee attacks and crowd control are most dangerous. Stoic adds the defense needed to survive that position. At level 5, it also provides an emergency heal when health drops low, making it the safest first affix to develop.
Tenacious
Tenacious increases the healing you receive. That improves Rune: Drain and the emergency sustain from Stoic. It does not replace good timing, but it makes the build less likely to collapse after one bad trade.
Fervor
Fervor rewards consecutive attacks with more magic damage. It fits the build because Paralysis Curse and Impact Sigil are used to create the opening, while the mace keeps the pressure going. At level 5, its penetration effect becomes another reason to maintain contact instead of landing one hit and leaving.
Strife
Strife improves melee weapon damage and gains more value when several enemies are close. It is useful in crowded PvE rooms and messy team fights, but survival and consistent magic pressure come first.
Blessing and Seamless
Blessing extends buffs, including the time you can benefit from Zeal. Seamless lowers skill cooldowns, helping Paralysis Curse and Impact Sigil return sooner. Both are good finishing affixes after the core trio is working.
Best Rune for PvP: Rune: Drain
Rune: Drain is the default choice against other players. Its enchanted heavy attack deals damage, heals the Seer, and lowers the target's attack. That gives the build a way to keep swinging without stopping to use a separate heal.
Drain is strongest when the target is already controlled. Pull or stagger the enemy first, build full Curse Mana, and spend the enchanted hit while you are close enough to connect. Using it from the edge of your range risks losing both the damage and the healing.
Best Rune for PvE: Rune: Sweep
Switch to Rune: Sweep when clearing monsters. Drain's healing is less reliable against regular PvE enemies, while Sweep gives you a stronger attack for groups. Save Zeal for dangerous elites, bosses, or a player ambush instead of spending it on every small pack.
The goal in normal PvE is efficiency. Build Curse Mana with safe mace attacks, use Sweep when several enemies can be hit, and keep your important cooldowns ready in case another Gyldhunter arrives.
Best chase option: Rune: Stun
Rune: Stun helps when an injured player breaks away. Its enchanted attack moves the Seer forward and stuns the target it hits. Change to it before the enemy creates too much distance; the Rune is a chase tool, not a substitute for reading where the opponent will dodge.
Drain remains the better default for a straight fight. Stun becomes valuable when securing the final connection matters more than healing through another exchange.
Best active skills
Paralysis Curse
Paralysis Curse is the ranged setup tool. It can be cast several times during a short window, and repeated hits on the same opponent build toward a stun. Use it while closing distance, after an enemy dodges, or when someone starts a heal.
The Electrocution talent is important because it lets you move while casting. Extract adds Curse Mana recovery when the Curse connects. Together, they turn a simple ranged attack into mobility, control, and resource generation.
Impact Sigil
Impact Sigil pulls an enemy toward the Seer and briefly staggers them. Aim the placement instead of trusting automatic targeting. A well-placed Sigil puts the target into mace range; a poorly placed one may leave the effect behind them.
Add Internal Injury to reduce the target's healing and movement speed, then take Mastery so successful hits also restore Curse Mana. This makes Impact Sigil the most useful bridge between your control skills and the Drain loop.
Best talents and unlock order
1. Ferocity
Take Ferocity early. It adds Super Armor and physical and magic resistance during Zeal. Super Armor helps you finish attacks through control effects, while the resistance reduces the punishment for fighting at close range.
2. Relentless
Relentless extends Zeal. More time is valuable only when you can stay on a target, so do not activate the mode while an enemy is already running toward open space.
3. Divine Power
Divine Power restores extra Curse Mana during Zeal. This directly fixes the resource problem created when automatic regeneration stops, and it helps you reach more enchanted heavy attacks inside one pressure window.
4. Extract and Electrocution
Take Extract and Electrocution to complete the Paralysis Curse package. One helps refill the resource, while the other keeps the Seer mobile during the cast. The combination is much safer than standing still and hoping a distant target does not escape.
5. Bloodlust
Bloodlust improves the healing from Rune: Drain. It is especially useful in PvP, where Drain is doing most of the work. If you spend more time farming monsters, the control talents may give you more immediate value before this one.
6. Internal Injury and Mastery
Finish with Internal Injury and Mastery for Impact Sigil. The first weakens healing and movement, and the second gives Curse Mana when the skill lands. They make a successful pull much harder for the enemy to recover from.
Blasphemer Seer combat rotation

The simple version is build Curse Mana, control the target, enter Zeal, and spend Rune attacks while contact is secure. Do not press every button at once.
Opening a fight
- Build Curse Mana on nearby monsters or with safe mace hits when possible.
