The PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct 2026 streams Sunday, September 20, with more than 30 games packed into a 90-minute presentation. The organizers are promising over 10 world premieres, new trailers and release-date news from the Tokyo Game Show floor.
The broadcast begins at 9 a.m. PT, noon ET and 5 p.m. BST on September 20. In Japan, it starts at 1 a.m. JST on Monday, September 21. Frankie Ward hosts the show, while PC Gamer’s Wesley Fenlon reports from Tokyo.

Firefly Studios will show a new Stronghold 4 trailer. The medieval strategy game is planned for 2026 on PC and follows Penryn of Wethel through a 22-mission campaign set in medieval England. Its cast includes Ben Starr, Samantha Béart, Walles Hamonde and Harry McEntire.
The sequel keeps the castle building, large sieges and economic management that define the series. Weather can affect crop growth and the accuracy of archers, while skirmish modes support battles against as many as eight computer-controlled opponents. The Tokyo trailer should give players a clearer look at how those systems work together.
Tenebris Somnia and Virtue have news coming
Tenebris Somnia is scheduled for a deeper look. The horror RPG mixes detailed pixel art with live-action scenes, and the showcase should reveal more about how those styles meet during play.
Virtue and a Sledgehammer will announce its release date. The colorful action game has already built its identity around exaggerated animation and a weapon that can smash through the world around its hero.
The lineup also includes a new trailer for Let’s Build a Dungeon. More games remain unannounced, so the four confirmed titles are only a small part of the full program.
With more than 10 premieres promised, the Tokyo Direct is built for surprises. The clearest reason to watch live is not just one confirmed game, but the possibility that several projects will appear publicly for the first time.
