Grand Blue Dreaming will return for Season 4. The anime’s official site confirmed that production is underway immediately after the final episode of Season 3 aired in Japan.

The announcement arrived with a new visual rather than a full trailer. It places Iori in the middle of several women from the series and suggests that the romantic competition around him will become even more chaotic. The official message says future updates will be shared through the anime website and its social accounts.

The diving club is not finished yet

Grand Blue Dreaming follows Iori Kitahara after he moves to a seaside town for college and stays above his uncle’s diving shop. He expects a fresh start. Instead, he is pulled into the Peek a Boo diving club, where beautiful ocean trips share space with drinking contests, bad plans and a nearly complete lack of clothing.

Season 3 pushed the group beyond its familiar college routine and into a new overseas adventure in Palau. The finale gave the anime a natural place to pause, but the quick renewal means the story will keep moving instead of leaving viewers with another long gap.

Iori, Kohei and Chisa remain the core trio

Yuma Uchida voices Iori, Ryohei Kimura voices Kohei Imamura and Chika Anzai voices Chisa Kotegawa. The official site continues to list the wider cast that returned for Season 3, including Hiroki Yasumoto, Katsuyuki Konishi, Maaya Uchida, Toa Yukinari, Kana Asumi and Aya Yamane.

The comedy works because those characters want very different things from the same trip. Iori is always trying to survive the club’s latest idea. Kohei can turn almost any conversation toward anime. Chisa takes diving seriously and often becomes the only person in the room acting like an adult.

What the announcement did not reveal

Season 4 does not have a release window, episode count or confirmed production staff yet. The announcement also did not say whether studios Zero-G and Saber Works will return after animating Season 3.

There is no new trailer, opening theme or broadcast schedule. The visual is the only Season 4 image released so far, so any specific plot description beyond its romantic tease would be guesswork.

That short announcement is still important after the years fans once waited between seasons. It confirms that Grand Blue Dreaming is continuing while the most recent episodes are still fresh, and it gives the production room to reveal the schedule when it is ready.

For now, Season 4 is confirmed but undated. The Grand Blue Dreaming anime page has the current cast, studios, season count and announcement details.
