Sucker Punch is adding two major pieces of content to Ghost of Yōtei on October 1. One continues Atsu's story. The other is built for players who want to keep testing the combat after the campaign ends. The details come from the official PlayStation Blog announcement.
Both are included in the new Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition. Current owners can buy the Complete Edition Upgrade for $14.99, while new players can get the full package for $69.99.
Echoes of Sekigahara returns to Atsu's past
Echoes of Sekigahara is a narrative expansion told across two periods. In the present, Atsu meets Nagato, someone from her past who has reached Ezo. She also enters a new valley once controlled by the Snake and his followers, the Vipers.
Flashbacks show Atsu during the Battle of Sekigahara and cover an important part of her life before she returned home. The expansion adds new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, and dyes.

This is the part for players who finished the main story and wanted more time with Atsu. It adds history that the original game could mention without fully showing, then connects it to a new problem in Ezo.
Most Wanted is made for repeat runs
Most Wanted is a single-player survival mode with a roguelike structure. Players accept bounties, begin a run, defeat enemies, and collect perks that change how the next fights play.
It also opens the combat to more characters. Atsu uses dual katana, Oyuki fights with the kusarigama, and Nagato uses a yari. Sucker Punch has not shown every rule yet, but the mode is clearly designed around shorter runs and different builds instead of another open-world story.
