Charles Nieuwendyk has a new client for the last chapter of A Man on the Inside. Bernadette Peters plays Coco Van Beck, a San Francisco society figure who asks Charles to find out who is trying to sabotage her charitable work.
Netflix says production on Season 3 has begun in San Francisco. Ted Danson returns as Charles, and the case puts him among Coco’s friends, former partners and employees. The streamer calls this the comedy’s third and final season.
Who joins the new case?
Nick Offerman plays Jack Spencer, a Coco employee who becomes interested in Charles’s investigation. Rachel Dratch plays Maud, Coco’s overworked assistant. Stephen Root plays Dave, Charles’s estranged brother, giving the new season a family thread alongside the mystery.
The rest of the announced guest cast extends Coco’s social circle. Annette O’Toole plays Kitt, one of Coco’s oldest friends. Christopher McDonald plays Leland, Coco’s third ex-husband, and Diedrich Bader plays real estate developer Mark Delaurio, who has clashed with her. Jessica St. Clair plays Chloe, a friend of Charles’s daughter Emily.
When can you watch Season 3?
Netflix has not announced a Season 3 release date. The first two seasons are available there now; availability can vary by region.
Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Stephanie Beatriz and Mary Steenburgen are among the returning actors. For now, Netflix has revealed the players in Charles’s next case, not the answer to it.
