A Man on the Inside follows Charles Nieuwendyk, a retired professor drawn into private investigations. Ted Danson plays Charles. The first two seasons are streaming on Netflix. A third and final season began filming in San Francisco in September 2026; its new guest cast includes Bernadette Peters, Nick Offerman, Rachel Dratch and Stephen Root. Netflix has not announced a Season 3 release date.
