Yellowjackets is bringing three familiar faces into its final season. Molly Ringwald plays Van Palmer’s mother Vicky, while June Squibb plays Geraldine and Devon Sawa plays Howard.
Newly released scene photos place Ringwald opposite Liv Hewson’s teenage Van, Squibb alongside Christina Ricci’s adult Misty, and Sawa beside Sophie Thatcher’s teenage Natalie. Those pairings are confirmed; the show has not explained how Geraldine or Howard will affect the larger story.
How do the new characters fit in?
Van’s mother Vicky gives the teenage timeline a family connection beyond the stranded team. Geraldine appears in Misty’s present-day story, while Howard turns up in a scene with young Natalie. The images establish who shares the screen, not where those relationships lead.

The series moves between the team’s survival after a plane crash and the adult survivors’ lives years later. Hewson, Ricci and Thatcher return to those connected timelines as the new guest characters arrive.
