A new Japanese preview released September 18 shows the Rising Volt Tacklers arriving for a festival, where newcomer Navi meets the masked Pokémon. The next episode is scheduled for September 25 on TV Tokyo’s Japanese Friday broadcast.
The first stills are unusually charming for an announcement crowded with legendary Pokémon. One shows Navi holding out a red festival treat as Ogerpon leans toward her. Another gives the Pokémon a bright, wide-eyed close-up. They make the central encounter feel friendly before the preview introduces the visitors who could turn the celebration upside down.
Kitakami brings familiar faces and new trouble
Players met Ogerpon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s The Teal Mask expansion, which used Kitakami and its festival as the setting for the masked Pokémon’s story. The anime is now borrowing that recognizable place, but it is not promising a scene-by-scene adaptation of the game. The new footage points to Navi’s meeting with Ogerpon as the beginning of its own television adventure.
The preview also shows the Loyal Three — Okidogi, Munkidori and Fezandipiti — disrupting the festival, according to Japanese promotional material. Pecharunt appears in the newly released visual, while the four Treasures of Ruin from Paldea are featured on the other side of the artwork. That is a lot of potential conflict for one episode, and the visual does not mean every Pokémon will receive a full story on September 25. It announces where this stretch of the Wonder Voyage arc can go.
What is confirmed for viewers outside Japan?
TV Tokyo continues to carry the Japanese series on Fridays at 6:55 p.m. local time, with regional broadcast variations noted by the official Pokémon account. The September 25 date belongs to that Japanese schedule. It is not a newly announced Netflix release date for the English-language Pokémon Horizons: Rising Hope batches, which follow a separate rollout.
That distinction matters for fans who see clips online before their local streaming release. The footage is real and the Kitakami story is next in Japan, but the cited announcements do not supply an English dub date or an international streaming plan for this episode.
