BS NTV follows on Thursday, October 8 at 11:00 p.m. JST. The official page labels the premiere as a one-hour special and says episodes from the second onward return to 30-minute broadcast slots.

The network notice warns that these times can change. It confirms the television schedule, not a worldwide release moment, and the announced one-hour block should not be read as proof that the episode itself contains a full 60 minutes of animation.

Where will Season 2 stream?

Crunchyroll has announced Sasaki and Peeps Season 2 for its service in 2026. The platform’s official trailer identifies the sequel and the returning central pair, but its current announcement does not provide an exact streaming date.

An October 7 simulcast is not confirmed by the available Crunchyroll notice. The service has also not published a country list, episode hour, subtitle menu or English-dub schedule for the new season.

For another newly dated anime, the PSYREN release guide separates its Japanese TV schedule from Crunchyroll’s confirmed information in the same way.

What does the one-hour premiere mean?

The first Season 2 broadcast is officially billed as a one-hour special. AT-X reserves 10:00 to 11:00 p.m., while TOKYO MX reserves 11:00 p.m. to midnight on October 7.

The schedule then moves to standard 30-minute windows for later episodes. That makes the premiere an expanded return for the series, but the official material does not say whether the broadcast contains one extended episode or another programming structure inside the hour.

Season 2’s total number of episodes is also absent. The one-hour launch cannot be used to calculate the length of the full season or its ending date.

What is Sasaki and Peeps about?

Sasaki is a tired office worker whose new pet turns out to be a talking Java sparrow named Peeps. Peeps is a powerful sage from another world and gives Sasaki the ability to travel between that fantasy realm and modern Japan.

Sasaki begins trading ordinary modern goods for valuable items across worlds while learning magic from Peeps. His attempt to build a quieter and more comfortable life becomes complicated when he encounters people with supernatural powers in Japan and is drawn into government work.

The series deliberately keeps several kinds of conflict active at once. Fantasy politics, commerce, magic, psychics and Sasaki’s neighbors all compete for his attention, while Peeps remains his most knowledgeable partner.

What does the Season 2 main trailer show?

The September 11 main promotional video returns to both sides of Sasaki’s double life. It shows Peeps in flight, Sasaki in the fantasy world, familiar figures in contemporary Japan and several new confrontations.

The trailer places the Lady Next Door, Hoshizaki, Futarishizuka, Elsa, Magical Pink and other established characters around Sasaki and Peeps. It also gives prominent space to the fantasy cast, including newly listed characters Abaddon, Himegami-kun and Eriel.

The footage is a preview, not a complete plot outline. It confirms that the modern supernatural and fantasy-world threads continue, but it does not identify the exact light-novel volume where the season begins or ends.

Who is in the Season 2 cast?

Tomokazu Sugita returns as Sasaki, with Aoi Yuki as Peeps. Akari Kito voices the Lady Next Door, Rie Takahashi plays Hoshizaki, Naomi Ozora plays Futarishizuka and Miyu Tomita plays Elsa.

The announced cast also includes Inori Minase as Magical Pink and Ryotaro Okiayu as Akutsu. Hiroki Yasumoto voices Viscount Muller, Mutsumi Tamura voices Abaddon, Tasuku Hatanaka voices Himegami-kun and Yu Sasahara voices Eriel.

The official page presents these names as the current cast lineup. It does not label the list as every character who will appear during the season.

Who is making Season 2, and what are the theme songs?

Yushi Ibe directs Season 2 at SILVER LINK, with Yamato Ouchi as assistant director. Deko Akao handles series composition, and Saori Nakashiki serves as character designer and chief animation director.

MADKID performs the opening theme “Unbroken.” The ending is “すきぴのおかげ!” by のんふぃく!, using the official Japanese song and artist styling.

The anime adapts the light novels written by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku. Yen Press publishes the novels in English and identifies both creators on its first-volume listing.

What Season 2 details remain unconfirmed?

The episode count and season finale date have not been announced. The current official pages also do not specify the exact source-volume range or give a universal age rating.

Crunchyroll’s exact release day, territories, languages and dub plans remain unconfirmed. Those details should come from a dated service listing rather than being inferred from the Japanese broadcast schedule.
