Start in Forest, carry an egg back to your base, and hatch a pet that earns money. Use that income to improve your training, then build enough Speed to bring eggs home from farther areas. Lake's 900 recommended Speed is only a starting target: a heavy egg slows the return trip, so a zone you can reach may still be difficult to steal from.

Your first eggs and the trip back

  1. Choose an egg in Forest, the starting area. Before picking it up, look back toward your base and identify the return route.
  2. Take the egg and head home. The nest's guardian can chase you; avoid adding detours to the trip.
  3. Put the egg in a base pen and let it hatch. Check the resulting pet's income per second, shown as $/s.
  4. Open the pet Index after discovering a new pet and collect any available reward. New discoveries can provide cash and Speed as well as another pet for your collection.
  5. Train on your treadmill, then compare the next treadmill and trail upgrades before spending your cash.
  6. Attempt the next area with an egg you can carry back reliably. If the guardian repeatedly catches you, return to training or choose a smaller target.

Egg size creates a trade-off: a bigger egg can produce a more valuable pet, but its weight makes the escape harder. For an early collection, a successful smaller steal is more useful than repeatedly losing a larger target. Judge a route by completed trips, not just how far you can run without carrying anything.

Community records report an egg refresh every five minutes, and the September footage shows an ALL EGG RESET countdown. Watch for the reset when looking for new nest options rather than assuming the eggs you saw earlier are still available.

Move close enough to see the egg's Steal prompt and follow the displayed control. The PC recording below uses E. The swan and surrounding nests are in Lake; the image shows how to recognize the interaction, not a promise that a new player is ready for that area.

You can also steal eggs from other players. A trip through a guardian's nest and a steal from another player are different risks, so learn your return route before chasing a rival's valuable egg.

Pets to look for in the first three areas

Pets come from specific areas, so finding a new biome also gives you new collection targets. These are examples from the community's September 2026 records, rather than a complete pet list or a ranking of your individual hatches:

  • Forest: Chicken, Dog, Bird, Owl, Raccoon, Fox, Bear, and Brr Brr Patapim.
  • Lake: Frog, Duckling, Catfish, Turtle, Trulimero Trulicina, Swan, Axolotl, and Leviathan.
  • Desert: Jerboa, Fennec, Camel, Snake, Sand Spider, and Royal Sphinx are among its documented pets.

Chicken and Frog provide useful early examples of the difference between recurring income and a discovery reward. Community records list Chicken at a base $1/s with an Index reward of 420 Speed and $100; Frog is listed at a base $3/s with 2,000 Speed and $300 for its Index reward. The reward is a collection claim, not the pet's income every second. Check the current Index before expecting those amounts.

An individual pet's displayed earnings can differ from a base listing because weight, mutations, or an active boost shown in the UI affect the comparison. If two pets have the same name but different $/s values, compare their details before assuming one value is wrong.

How to train Speed with the treadmill

Step onto the belt and watch the shoe-shaped Speed counter. It should increase while your character trains. Cash earned by your pets is a separate number; more money alone does not mean your movement Speed has increased.

The machine's upgrade sign is beside the treadmill. Read the next level's price and training gain before buying it. Buying an upgrade changes the training equipment; running on it builds the Speed you use when moving through the map.

Community equipment records list the starter treadmill at +2 Speed per step, the Sci-Fi Treadmill at +5 for $15,000, and the Flame Treadmill at +12 for $250,000. Use those as September 2026 reference points and compare them with your own sign before buying. Temporary boosts and equipped items can change the gain you see while training.

Trails improve training gains

Trails have a visible cosmetic effect, but their progression benefit is a multiplier to Speed earned on the treadmill. Equipping a trail does not instantly multiply the movement Speed you already have. Train after equipping it to build the additional Speed.

Only one trail can be equipped at a time. Community records list Grey Trail at 1.5× for $100, Green Trail at 2× for $5,000, and Blue Trail at 2.5× for $75,000. Compare the active trail with the new one, not every trail you own added together.

The Trail Shop displays Blue, Purple and Golden Trails with their Speed multipliers and purchase options.
Blue, Purple and Golden Trails show 2.5×, 3× and 3.5× in the September 3, 2026 shop. Check the currency icon and current price before buying.

The shop recording also shows Purple Trail at 3× for $1.5 million and Golden Trail at 3.5× for $30 million. Those prices and multipliers match the community equipment records, but still check the live shop before spending. Read the currency icon carefully: cash and Robux purchase options appear beside one another.

For example, replacing a 1.5× trail with a 2× trail raises that multiplier by about 33%, assuming everything else stays the same. It is not a fresh doubling of your current training gain. Likewise, moving from +2 to +5 on the treadmill changes the machine's listed base gain by 2.5 times. These comparisons help you assess a purchase without assuming the more expensive item is always the better next step.

Estimate the training time you still need

Subtract your current Speed from your next target, then divide by the Speed you actually gain in a short timed training session. If you need 1,200 more Speed and measure 20 Speed per second, the estimate is 60 seconds. This is a calculation example, not a claimed game-wide training rate. Measure again after changing equipment or when a boost expires.

Area order and Speed milestones

The community's September 2026 area list follows this progression. Treat these as planning milestones, not guaranteed escape thresholds or proof of a locked gate. The Lake sign in the September gameplay below says 900 recommended. Check the current area sign if an update changes a value. K means thousand, M means million, and B means billion.

The Lake sign reads 900 recommended in this September 3, 2026 recording. That is not a guarantee of escaping with a heavy egg.
  1. Forest: no Speed requirement.
  2. Lake: 900 Speed.
  3. Desert: 10,000 Speed.
  4. Jungle: approximately 40,000 Speed.
  5. Snow: approximately 170,000 Speed.
  6. Volcano: approximately 700,000 Speed.
  7. Abyss Ocean: approximately 2.5 million Speed.
  8. Prehistoric: approximately 17–18 million Speed.
  9. Cosmic: 700 million Speed.
  10. Cherry Blossom: 2.5 billion Speed.
  11. Titan Temple: 7 billion Speed.
  12. Angels & Demons: 20 billion Speed.

Once you reach a milestone, test a manageable egg before committing to a larger one. Leave a Speed margin for the return journey, especially when the target is heavier than your previous successful steal.

What to upgrade when money is tight

Match the purchase to the problem holding you back:

  • You cannot reach the next area: collect available Index rewards and improve treadmill training. Compare the next machine and trail by cost and gain.
  • You reach the area but lose the egg on the way home: train more or choose a smaller egg. Reaching a new area does not remove the carrying penalty.
  • You can steal successfully but earn too little: compare the $/s of your pets and target hatches that could improve your income.
  • Your usable pet spaces are full: inspect the next base upgrade's capacity and cost. An extra usable space can matter more than keeping a weaker earner in a full base.

When comparing a replacement pet, use the increase in income. A pet earning $50/s in place of one earning $20/s adds $30/s. If obtaining that improvement costs $6,000, a simple payback estimate is 200 seconds at that extra rate. Those are illustrative numbers; include any other costs and do not confuse a one-time sale price with ongoing income.

Rarity, weight, and mutations

These describe different parts of a pet. Rarity identifies its tier, weight describes the individual size roll, and a mutation applies a separate variant. A bigger specimen and a mutated specimen of the same pet can therefore have different earnings.

Community mutation records list Silver at 1.2×, Golden at 2.5×, and Rainbow at 3.5× income. These are reported color multipliers, not guaranteed final totals for every pet. The displayed $/s already reflects the pet you own; do not multiply it again when comparing two finished hatches.

For an illustration using a base rate of $100/s and ignoring weight and other bonuses, a reported 2.5× Golden modifier would give $250/s. That does not mean every Golden pet earns $250/s, or that every large pet has one fixed multiplier. Avoid treating “Huge” or “Giant” as a universal income formula.

Some variants use special acquisition methods. Fractured is associated with Rift rewards and mutation consumables, while Bloom and Spirit Bloom were tied to the Sakura Incubator. Check whether the relevant event or method is available before spending time chasing an old reward. An ordinary egg's color alone is not enough to identify an income mutation; inspect the variant label and pet details.

Rift activities: boss fights and pet sacrifices

The Rift update introduced two different activities. In the timed encounter, players enter a Rift and fight the Overlord. Community event records describe Boss Tokens for the Boss Shop and a separate Boss Mastery reward track. The shop includes temporary boosts and an egg-mutation consumable. Inspect the reward and duration before spending tokens, especially if you plan to stop training soon.

The lobby Rift instead requests pets. Its documented exchange is three requested pets for one Rift Egg, with the available banner determining the reward pool. Check which pets you are giving up before confirming. If one is a major source of your base income, replacing it first may be more useful than immediately completing the exchange.

The event records list boss openings every 30 minutes and banner changes roughly every three hours. Follow the live countdown rather than timing a session from an older video. Boss rewards, Mastery progress, and the lobby sacrifice are separate systems; completing one does not automatically complete the others.

Common problems and what to check

My trail did not make me run faster

Check that it is equipped, then train on the treadmill. Its multiplier affects training gains rather than immediately scaling your existing movement Speed.

I meet the recommended Speed but keep getting caught

Lake's recommendation is a planning reference, not a guarantee for every egg. A heavier egg makes the return harder. Try a smaller egg, shorten the route home, or train more before repeating the attempt.

My pet earns less than the one in a video

Compare the name, mutation, weight, and visible bonuses. A boosted or larger pet is not a reliable base-income comparison. Also check whether the video shows a sale value, an Index reward, or income per second.

An event guide tells me to use something that is missing

Check the current event and shop before following the old steps. Sakura-era instructions and newer Rift activities do not share every item or reward method. Do not assume a missing event item is a purchase you have overlooked.
