Ternox Games says Sony has ended its PlayStation developer and publisher agreement, leaving 13 games scheduled for removal from the PlayStation Store after August 23, 2026. The announcement also cancels the planned PS5 version of STONKS-9800, a stock-market simulator from the Ukrainian indie developer.

The information comes from Ternox’s own statement and reports by GamesRadar+ and AUTOMATON WEST. Sony has not announced the decision itself, so the reason for the termination is still unconfirmed.

Ternox Says Sony Ended the Agreement Without an Explanation

Ternox said on August 16 that Sony had unilaterally ended its PlayStation developer and publisher agreement. The developer also said PlayStation Support did not respond to its arguments or emails. Those are Ternox’s claims; neither the agreement nor a Sony explanation has been made public.

The reported schedule is straightforward: Ternox’s existing games are expected to leave the PlayStation Store after August 23. That date comes from the developer’s statement, not from a public PlayStation delisting notice, so availability could still differ by region or change before then.

The 13 Games Include Ternox Releases and Partner Titles

Ternox says 13 games connected to its PlayStation publishing account are currently on the store. AUTOMATON WEST reports that 10 were released by Ternox over about five years, while three were transferred to the account by other developers or publishers it worked with.

Ternox’s publishing page describes a business built around porting and publishing games for consoles, which explains why the catalog includes work from outside teams. The available reports do not provide a complete, verified list of the 13 affected titles, so naming individual games without a current regional store check would risk errors.

The situation also adds a concrete example to the debate over who owns games on a digital PlayStation storefront. A game can stop being sold when the company handling its listing loses an agreement, even if the game itself has not changed.

STONKS-9800’s PS5 Version Is Canceled

The most visible canceled project is STONKS-9800: Stock Market Simulator. Ternox’s official press kit describes it as a simulator set around Japan’s stock market in the 1980s and 1990s, with players managing investments, work, health, and daily life. The game launched in Early Access on Steam and was planned for PS5, including a physical release targeted for 2027.
