Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has been quiet since Naughty Dog revealed it in December 2024. On August 21, actor Robin Atkin Downes posted a short video from a motion-capture session and said he was working with Naughty Dog again. His post also used the game’s hashtag, and GamesRadar reports that Downes has joined the cast. Neither the actor nor the studio has identified his role.
That makes this a casting update, not a new trailer or a release announcement. It gives fans one more name connected to the project while leaving the part he plays completely open.
Robin Atkin Downes made the update himself
Downes’ video shows him wearing motion-capture gear, the equipment actors use to record body movement for a digital character. His caption says he had been keeping the project quiet and that “the journey continues” with Naughty Dog. The post does not include a character name, a scene, or a release detail. You can read the original post here.
Naughty Dog has not published a full cast list for Intergalactic. The studio’s announcement says more ensemble details will come later, so Downes’ post fills in one piece without explaining how large his role will be.

His Naughty Dog credits run through Uncharted and The Last of Us
Downes has worked with Naughty Dog across several of the studio’s best-known games. GamesRadar’s report identifies his roles as Atoq Navarro in the first Uncharted, Tenzin in Uncharted 2, Talbot in Uncharted 3, Robert in The Last of Us, and Hector Alcazar in Uncharted 4. That history makes him familiar to players who followed Naughty Dog before Intergalactic was announced.
