Two names are suddenly attached to GTA 6’s main characters. IMDb and Box Office Mojo currently list Dylan Rourke as Jason Duval and Manni L. Perez as Lucia Caminos in Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, the roughly 26-minute special Rockstar released on August 27. That gives fans a specific lead after years of guessing, but it is not an official cast announcement.

Rockstar’s own GTA VI pages still introduce Jason and Lucia without naming the performers. The public credits are real listings, yet their source is unclear. Calling the actors “confirmed” would go further than the evidence allows.

What the online credits actually say

The two names appear on the credit pages for An Extended Look rather than in a Rockstar cast post for the game. IMDb labels Rourke as Jason and Perez as Lucia, while Box Office Mojo shows the same pair. Neither page explains who submitted the information or includes production documentation from Rockstar.

The special itself is official. Rockstar says its footage was captured in-game on PlayStation 5, and it shows Jason and Lucia speaking, fighting, driving, and working together. It does not put a cast card on screen or identify the actors in the accompanying description. Seeing a finished performance and receiving a verified credit are two different things.

Rockstar has confirmed the characters, not the performers

Rockstar has given Jason and Lucia detailed official biographies. Jason grew up around criminals, served in the Army, and later worked for drug runners in the Leonida Keys. Lucia learned to fight from her father, served time in prison while protecting her family, and wants a different life after her release.

The studio also confirms their place in the story. A job that should have been easy pulls the pair into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida, the fictional state that includes Vice City. The official pages set up the relationship and the November 19, 2026 release, but they leave the voice cast unnamed. Our GTA 6 guide collects those confirmed details without treating rumors as announcements.

Manni L. Perez has been linked to Lucia for years

Perez’s name was already part of the Lucia discussion before the Extended Look appeared. Hindustan Times reported on social-media activity from an account using her name and described an apparent acknowledgment of the role. Fans connected the account to GTA 6 because Perez’s appearance and career history seemed to fit what they heard in the trailers.

That trail is not solid proof. VICE reported that the Instagram account connected to the claim appeared to be an impersonator, and no official Rockstar statement followed it. The social post can explain why Perez’s name keeps returning in fan conversations, but it should not be presented as a verified casting announcement.

Dylan Rourke has even less public confirmation

Rourke’s connection to Jason currently rests on the IMDb and Box Office Mojo entries. VICE’s reporting also found no Rockstar confirmation for his role. There is no verified public interview or studio statement in the sources checked for this article that identifies him as Jason’s performer.

That does not prove the credit is wrong. It means readers cannot tell whether it came from a legitimate production record, an early listing update, or a fan submission. The name may turn out to be accurate when Rockstar publishes a full cast list, but the listing alone cannot answer that question.

Why IMDb and Box Office Mojo are not enough

IMDb is a useful place to spot a lead, but its credits can be edited by users. Box Office Mojo’s page currently repeats the same associations, so the two listings do not function as two independent confirmations. They show that the information is circulating on public credit pages—not where it came from.

Games can also receive credits before a publisher is ready to discuss them, and credit pages can carry mistakes for a long time. That is why the wording matters here: “listed” describes what the pages show, while “confirmed” would require a direct statement or reliable production record.

What can be called confirmed right now

The clearest version of the story has four parts:

  • Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are the official protagonists of Grand Theft Auto VI.
  • Rockstar released An Extended Look with their finished in-game performances.
  • IMDb and Box Office Mojo currently list Dylan Rourke as Jason and Manni L. Perez as Lucia.
  • Rockstar has not officially confirmed either performer in the sources checked.

Those points leave room for the credits to be correct without turning an editable credit entry into a studio reveal. If Rockstar publishes a cast announcement, the status of both names can change quickly. Until then, the responsible description is that Rourke and Perez are linked to Jason and Lucia by public credits, not confirmed cast members.

The official answer is still missing

The new credits give GTA 6 fans something more concrete to discuss than another blurry leak, especially after the Extended Look put the two performances in front of millions of viewers. They still do not settle who voiced the characters. Rockstar has kept that information private while it promotes the game’s world, story, and November launch.

Would you count these listings as a reveal, or are you waiting for Rockstar to name the cast itself? The distinction may feel technical, but it is the line between a strong lead and a confirmed fact.
