The week of September 21 has a crowded four-day release run. Dune: Awakening reaches PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 22. Aniimo follows on mobile September 23. Silent Hill: Townfall and CONTROL Resonant both launch September 24, and EA Sports FC 27 arrives September 25.

September 22: Dune: Awakening reaches consoles
Dune: Awakening has been available on PC, but September 22 brings the survival game to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The console release arrives alongside a single-player mode that can be used without other players entering the session.
The game still centers on survival, base building, vehicles, spice, and the dangers of Arrakis. Console players are getting the expanded version rather than the PC launch build from 2025.
September 23: Aniimo reaches iOS and Android
Aniimo launched on PC, PS5, and Xbox on September 16. The iOS and Android versions arrive September 23. Players who already started on PC can sign in on mobile with the same account and continue with shared data.
September 24: Silent Hill, CONTROL, and Dragon Quest
Silent Hill: Townfall launches on PS5 and PC on September 24. The first-person horror game follows Simon through a remote Scottish town, using an old CRT television to uncover clues while exploration, puzzles, and combat push him deeper into the town’s history.

CONTROL Resonant arrives the same day on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Dylan Faden replaces Jesse as the playable lead and enters a transformed Manhattan to search for his missing sister. The combat mixes melee attacks, gunplay, and paranatural abilities.

September 25: EA Sports FC 27 launches
EA Sports FC 27 receives its standard worldwide release on September 25 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Players with editions that include early access may already be on the pitch, but September 25 is the main launch date.
