Aishwarya Lekshmi and Arjun Das play rival dating-app founders in Netflix’s Tamil series #Love. The actors have now explained what makes Tara and Matthew such different people: one wants a reliable match, while the other believes attraction comes first.
Tara trusts compatibility; Matthew trusts chemistry. Tara runs FOUND, while Matthew runs Find My Bae. Their competing ideas become personal when Tara proposes a challenge that tests both of them. Netflix says the series follows a 60-day search for the right match.

Lekshmi describes Tara as ambitious and hardworking, but also someone who struggles and keeps going. Tara has built a business around the idea that love can be understood, even as her own relationship with Matthew challenges that belief. Lekshmi says working with Das felt easy from the start.
Das sees Matthew as a romantic who hides behind a relaxed exterior. He says the character is set against the idea that compatibility alone can explain a relationship. Das also credits Lekshmi with bringing wit and warmth to Tara. Their comments put the two leads’ views of love at the center of the show, not just the apps they created.

Soundarya Rajinikanth is the showrunner and producer, and Balaji Mohan directs. Nirmal Williams wrote the series with Sharada Subramanian and Shweta Chakravarty. Netflix’s official title page also lists Arjun Chidambaram among the stars; it does not identify his character there.
