Merry Berry Love brings Ji Chang-wook’s fallen Korean designer to a Japanese island where Mio Imada’s strawberry farmer is trying to protect her work. The romance grows out of their difficult first meeting and the life Karin has built on the farm.

What is Merry Berry Love about?
Lee Yoo-bin is a successful spatial designer in Korea until an incident takes away his standing and sends him to Charo Island. Karin Shirahama inherited her grandfather’s strawberry fields and is preparing for a variety-certification review after three years of work. Their first encounter goes badly, leaving both with reasons to keep their distance.
The island setting matters to the premise. Karin’s farm is her responsibility, not just a backdrop for the romance. Yoo-bin arrives after a professional setback, so the two leads are facing very different kinds of uncertainty.
Who’s who on Charo Island
Ji Chang-wook plays Yoo-bin and Mio Imada plays Karin. Nam Yoon-su appears as Park Geunam, who works at the island store; Rinka Kumada plays Mari Mizuno, Karin’s friend and the owner of a café and bar.
