Why are the streaming and TV dates different?
The Japanese anime site says ABEMA and U-NEXT get each episode a week before television. Tokyo MX begins airing season two on October 3 at 10:30 p.m. JST. BS Asahi and Kansai TV follow on October 4. This is why some viewers can already watch the new episode while the Japanese TV broadcast has not started.
Crunchyroll’s fall lineup also lists season two from September 26 with subtitles. Its listed territories include North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and others. Availability can still vary by country and subscription. What is season two about?
The anime follows Lufas Maphaahl, a former conqueror who returns after being sealed away for 200 years. Her return upsets a world that remembers her as the Black-Winged Tyrant. The new season continues her journey with the Twelve Heavenly Stars and brings more of those characters into the story.
The latest official artwork shows Lufas facing Benetnasch while other Heavenly Stars gather around them. Episode 13, the first new episode, has six preview stills on the Japanese site. The images show Lufas with her companions, along with several other characters, but they do not give away the full episode.

Ami Koshimizu returns as Lufas and Yuri Usui voices Dina. The new cast names highlighted with the trailer are Akio Otsuka as Leon, Atsushi Miyauchi as Sagittarius and Shuhei Sakaguchi as Mercurius. WAO World animates the series, with Yuya Horiuchi directing.
