Please Excuse My Younger Brothers returns with its second half on October 2. The production has released a new trailer and key visual ahead of episode 13. This is the next part of the same 24-episode anime, not a separate new season.
What the new trailer confirms
The latest preview uses new footage from the second half and introduces its updated music. “LOVE & LIKE” by Neguse. is the new opening song, while “Mabataki” by MEminor is the new ending song. The official Japanese site posted both the trailer and the new family artwork on September 26. You can watch the trailer in the player on this page.
The show follows Ito Narita, a high school student whose mother remarries. Ito expects to live with her mother and new father, then discovers that she also has four younger stepbrothers. Gen is blunt but cares about the family; Raku is calm; Shu keeps to himself; and Rui is the cheerful youngest. The series has spent its first 12 episodes showing how they get used to living together.
Episode 13 opens with a winter meeting
The official episode 13 preview moves to New Year’s Eve. Raku is out shopping when a woman named Azusa Yashiro asks to borrow his phone. Her boyfriend has canceled their plans, and she then asks Raku for another favor. That is as much as the published synopsis reveals. The episode images also show Ito and the brothers in winter clothes.
When and where to watch
Japanese television resumes October 2 on the show’s regular Friday late-night schedule. Crunchyroll lists the anime as a continuing Fall 2026 simulcast with new subtitled episodes on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time. It says the service carries the series worldwide except Japan, China and Korea. In Japan, the official site lists ABEMA and d Anime Store among the streaming options.
The first 12 episodes are already listed on Crunchyroll, so new viewers can catch up before episode 13. The anime is made by Lay-duce and adapts Akira Ozaki’s manga.
