That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 will return for its third cour in July 2027. The series’ official site announced the new window on September 25. It also confirmed that a separate TV anime, Clayman Revenge, will begin airing in Japan in April 2027.

A cour is roughly one TV season of anime. Season 4 was announced as a five-cour project, with its first two parts airing back-to-back from April 2026. The newly dated July 2027 run is the third part of that same season, not a fifth season or a new movie.

How the two 2027 dates fit together

Clayman Revenge comes first in April 2027. It is a spin-off centered on Clayman rather than a replacement for Rimuru’s main story. Three months later, Season 4’s third cour is set to start in July. The announcement does not give exact episode dates, a full episode count for either run or broadcast windows for the fourth and fifth cours.

The official website released new art showing Rimuru and Clayman side by side. It also shared a collaboration video made for the announcement by animation studio Eight Bit. The artwork makes the two productions easy to tell apart, but the dates are the most useful news for viewers trying to plan what to watch next.

Season 4 follows Rimuru as Tempest grows and its alliance with humans faces opposition. Crunchyroll’s description names Granville and Maribel Rozzo among the people opposing Rimuru’s plans. The main series began its fourth season on April 3, 2026.

Where can you watch Season 4?

Crunchyroll confirmed it streams Season 4 in North America, Europe and several other regions from its 2026 premiere. That confirms where the episodes already released can be watched in those regions. The service has not yet announced a separate international streaming schedule for the July 2027 third cour in the sources checked for this story.

The April and July dates are Japanese broadcast windows. They do not mean both shows will appear on the same streaming service everywhere at the same time. Fans waiting for Clayman Revenge should also keep it separate from Season 4 when checking new episodes.

For now, the order is clear: Clayman Revenge in April 2027, then Slime Season 4’s third cour in July 2027. The official site has not dated the final two parts of the five-cour Season 4 plan.
