Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set four years after Spider-Man: No Way Home. Peter Parker lives alone in New York City because the people who once knew him no longer remember his identity. He has chosen to focus on crime-fighting full time, protecting the city as Spider-Man without the personal support he had in the earlier films. Marvel's official synopsis says Peter faces a new pattern of crimes while the demands of protecting New York intensify. The pressure causes a physical change that threatens his existence, adding a personal danger to the case at the center of the movie. The story follows both Peter's work as Spider-Man and the consequences of living without the relationships that previously connected his heroic and private lives. Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker. Destin Daniel Cretton directs the film after directing Marvel Studios' Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Brand New Day is a direct continuation of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Peter's appearances in the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel released the official trailer and set the theatrical release for July 31, 2026. The starting point is Peter's status after No Way Home: he is an experienced Spider-Man whose identity was erased from the memories of the people around him. Brand New Day builds its story around that separation, the new crimes threatening New York, and the physical change placing Peter's future at risk.
