Spider-Man: Brand New Day may tease Miles Morales, but it never shows or names him. The strongest clue comes after the credits, when Ned's Spidey Tracker appears to register two Spider-Man sightings and then glitches as it searches beyond Earth. The visual resembles the Spider-Verse movies, where Miles is the lead, but Marvel and Sony have not confirmed that connection.
A small moment near the hospital has also caught attention. Peter sees a child among the people supporting Spider-Man and answers with the familiar web-shooting hand gesture. The movie does not identify the child, and there is no reason to call him Miles based on that scene alone. Viewers are reading it as a possible nod because the film spends so much time thinking about who could carry Spider-Man's example forward.
The honest answer is therefore yes, maybe, but very quietly. Brand New Day leaves images that fit a Miles theory without giving viewers the one thing that would confirm it: Miles Morales himself.
The Post-Credit Scene Shows Two Spider-Man Signals
The Spidey Tracker starts by reporting a new Spider-Man sighting in New York. It then loses the location, pulls farther away from the city, and keeps searching until the signal appears in space. The first explanation is Peter's future involvement in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars. Those movies can take him away from Earth without introducing another Spider-Man at all.
MeriStation noticed a stranger detail: two sightings appear at once while the tracker produces a glitch similar to the visual language used in the animated Spider-Verse films. If the device is seeing two Spider-Men, the second signal could belong to Miles, Tobey Maguire's Peter, Andrew Garfield's Peter, or another version that has not been introduced yet.
TechRadar offered a different reading and argued that the signal may belong to one of the older live-action Spider-Men. That possibility fits the multiverse story expected in the next Avengers movies. It also shows why the tracker cannot be treated as proof of Miles. The scene points toward another Spider-Man more clearly than it points toward one specific person.

The Spider-Verse-style glitch is still hard to ignore because audiences already connect that effect with Miles. Marvel knows viewers will make that connection. It can be a deliberate tease without being a promise that he appears in the very next movie.
Tom Holland Says Another Spider-Man Is Coming
The theory became more convincing after Tom Holland spoke to LOS40 during the movie's release. Asked about eventually passing the role forward, Holland said the process was already moving and that the team was working on how it would happen. He did not say Miles Morales by name, but Miles is the character most viewers expect to share or inherit the Spider-Man role.
Holland's comment confirms planning, not casting. There is no announced actor, movie, or date for a live-action Miles. It also does not prove that the Brand New Day child or the tracker signal is him. The interview simply tells us that another Spider-Man is no longer an idea being discussed only by fans.

There is also a practical reason to wait. Peter is still rebuilding his own life after No Way Home, and Brand New Day gives him new relationships and unfinished problems. Introducing Miles too quickly could turn Peter into a mentor before this version has finished growing. A brief visual hint lets Marvel prepare the audience without taking the movie away from Peter.
