Xbox owners can now get PC versions of 13 Ubisoft games without buying them again. The offer covers digital Xbox copies and adds the matching PC game to the player's Ubisoft Connect library.
The original story idea listed seven games, but Xbox's official announcement names 13. That correction changes the size of the offer and brings in major releases such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and Watch Dogs: Legion.
All 13 Ubisoft Games Included
The list includes Assassin's Creed Mirage, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Riders Republic, Skull and Bones, The Crew 2, The Crew Motorfest, Rainbow Six Extraction, Rainbow Six Siege, and Watch Dogs: Legion.
Xbox and Ubisoft announced the offer on July 27. New digital purchases receive access to both the Xbox console and PC versions immediately. People who already owned one of the games digitally on Xbox are getting the PC entitlement through a gradual rollout scheduled to finish by August 4, according to the official Xbox Wire FAQ.
This is useful for anyone who moved from an Xbox console to a gaming PC and did not want to purchase the same library again. Several games on the list can take dozens of hours to finish, so keeping access on another device is more valuable than a short free trial or a temporary subscription weekend.
The selection also covers different types of Ubisoft players. There are large open-world adventures, competitive shooters, racing games, a smaller action platformer, and live-service releases. Someone may only own one eligible title, but families or long-time Xbox users could find several PC copies added to the same account.
Ubisoft Connect is Ubisoft's free PC launcher and account service. Players need the latest version of the app and must sign in with the Ubisoft account connected to their Xbox profile. There is no separate claim page in the announcement. The eligible games should appear in the linked library once the entitlement reaches the account.
The Offer Has Important Limits
Only digital Xbox ownership counts. The announcement does not include physical discs, and access through Game Pass or Ubisoft+ should not be treated as owning a copy. Existing owners may also see nothing before August 4 because the older purchases are being processed gradually.
The benefit only moves in one direction. Buying a PC version does not provide a free Xbox console copy. This is also not the same as Xbox Play Anywhere, the Microsoft system that normally gives buyers both versions through one store and supports a more consistent experience across devices.
For most games, Xbox says the owned edition and downloadable content will transfer to PC. Consumable items, one-use content, and in-game currency may not carry over. Save progress only follows the player when that specific game supports cross-progression, so people should check each title before uninstalling anything or expecting an automatic move.
Edition matching is especially useful for players who bought Gold, Deluxe, or Ultimate versions. The FAQ says the edition and DLC transfer for most games, but it does not publish a title-by-title table. Opening each game's Properties page in Ubisoft Connect will show the PC edition and add-ons attached to the account.
Anyone who owns one of the 13 games should update Ubisoft Connect and check the account link before paying for a second copy on PC. If the game is still missing after August 4, Ubisoft's account-management page is the first place to confirm that the correct Xbox profile is connected. The remaining question is whether this list will grow beyond these first 13 games.
