F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 are October’s PlayStation Plus monthly games. Sony announced the lineup on September 30. Members can add them to their libraries from October 6 through November 2.
F1 25 and Hunt are the PS5 picks. World Brothers 2 includes PS5 and PS4 versions. The lineup is part of the monthly-games benefit for Essential, Extra and Premium members; Sony says availability may differ by region.
F1 25 — PS5
Codemasters’ racing game includes Driver Career, the Braking Point 3 story and My Team 2.0. In My Team, you run the team, hire two drivers and choose which one to race as each weekend. You also decide how to spend money on staff and car development.

Sony lists F1 25, not the separate 2026 Season Pack. EA sells that pack separately, so don’t assume the October offer includes it.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 — PS5
Hunt is an online shooter where monsters and other players can both end your run. In Bounty Hunt, you track a boss, take its bounty and try to leave the map alive. You can go alone or bring up to two teammates. It is the multiplayer-only choice in this month’s trio.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 — PS5 and PS4
World Brothers 2 puts EDF’s giant insects, aliens and robots in a blocky world. You rescue soldiers and pick four for your squad, each with different weapons and abilities. On PlayStation, it supports four-player online co-op and two-player local split-screen.

When can you claim them?
The October games arrive on Tuesday, October 6. Sony’s September lineup is still claimable through October 5. Add monthly games to your library during their claim window; an active PlayStation Plus subscription is needed to play them.
