Hunt: Showdown 1896 is an online first-person shooter about tracking monsters, taking bounties and getting out alive. Other Hunters are looking for the same targets, so a fight with a creature can turn into a fight with another team. You can enter Bounty Hunt alone or with one or two teammates.

The 1896 version launched on August 15, 2024, with the Mammon’s Gulch map in Colorado and a major engine update. It followed the earlier Hunt: Showdown rather than starting a new, unrelated series. Crytek develops and publishes the game for Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
