Dear Passengers is scheduled for 2026 on Windows PC through Steam. FLEXUS has not announced an exact release date or time, price, console version, or maximum co-op player count. No public demo download is currently listed on Steam. The official page supports both single-player and online co-op, but it does not say how many friends can join one crew.

Dear Passengers release details at a glance

  • Release window: 2026; no month, day, or launch time has been announced.
  • Confirmed platform: Windows PC through Steam.
  • Demo: no official public demo download is listed as of August 30, 2026.
  • Players: single-player and online co-op are confirmed; the maximum crew size is unannounced.
  • Local co-op: not listed on the official Steam page.
  • Price: unannounced; a user-created “Free to Play” tag is not official pricing.
  • Developer and publisher: FLEXUS.

Does Dear Passengers have an exact release date?

No. The official Steam page gives only 2026, and the Dear Passengers website sends players back to that same listing. Neither source identifies a quarter, month, day, time, early-access date, or pre-order period. Until FLEXUS publishes something more precise, countdowns and retailer dates should be treated as estimates rather than confirmed launch information.

Wishlisting is currently the only official launch action on Steam. That means there is no purchase button, edition comparison, or early-access package to choose. This tracker will need an update when FLEXUS announces the calendar date, but the present answer is simply 2026.

Is there a Dear Passengers demo or beta?

There is no public Dear Passengers demo on the official Steam listing as of August 30. The page offers a wishlist button, not a Download Demo or Request Access button, and FLEXUS has not published a Steam announcement opening a test. Discussion posts asking for a demo are requests from players, not release confirmation.

FLEXUS said on July 31 that it was preparing a gameplay video and that players fully control the airplane. That is evidence that more footage was planned, but a video is not a playable build. Avoid unofficial downloads or pages promising beta keys unless the developer links to them from Steam or the official site.

Which platforms are confirmed?

Windows PC is the only confirmed platform. Steam lists Windows 10 64-bit in the minimum requirements and does not mark macOS or Linux as supported. FLEXUS has not announced PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, or another PC storefront.

Steam Deck compatibility is also unconfirmed. The game has no public Deck rating before release, and a Windows listing alone does not guarantee that multiplayer, controls, anti-cheat, or performance will work through SteamOS. There is similarly no official cross-play or cross-save policy because no second platform has been announced.

How many players can play Dear Passengers?

The exact maximum has not been announced. Steam categorizes Dear Passengers as single-player, multiplayer, co-op, and online co-op. The description says one crew member pilots while the others work in the cabin, but it never turns “the others” into a numbered lobby limit. Screenshots showing several crew members are not a reliable player-cap specification.

Solo play is therefore officially supported, and online co-op with friends is part of the core pitch. Local co-op, split-screen, public matchmaking, private lobbies, dedicated servers, host migration, and drop-in play are not described on the current store page. Those details remain open questions rather than promised features.

Will Dear Passengers be free to play?

FLEXUS has not announced the price or said the game will be free. Steam may display “Free to Play” among its popular tags, but those tags are chosen and ranked by users; they are not the same as the developer-set genre, purchase price, or business model. The official listing still has no price and no package available to buy.

There is also no standard edition, deluxe edition, founder pack, season pass, or pre-order bonus. A free demo, a free-to-play launch, and a paid co-op game are three different possibilities, and none should be claimed before FLEXUS publishes pricing.

What do the pilot and cabin crew actually do?

A flight begins with choices about passengers and cargo. Higher-paying jobs can create harder problems, so the crew is balancing revenue against risk before the airplane leaves the ground. Once airborne, one player controls the plane while the cabin crew serves food and drinks, protects cargo, manages passengers, and stops small incidents from escalating.

Weather adds physics-driven pressure. Turbulence and air pockets can throw loose luggage, passengers, and cabin objects around while an abrupt turn creates more work for everyone behind the cockpit. The official feature list emphasizes online co-op, pilot-versus-cabin roles, physics, dynamic weather, risky passengers, and valuable cargo; it does not describe a fixed story campaign or competitive mode.

Dear Passengers minimum PC requirements

  • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit.
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 at 2.5 GHz or equivalent.
  • Memory: 8GB RAM.
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.
  • DirectX: Version 12.
  • Storage: 4GB available space.

Those are the current minimums, not a promise of a particular resolution or frame rate. FLEXUS has not posted recommended, high, or ultra specifications, and the store page does not identify an SSD requirement. Hardware targets can change during development, so the final listing should be checked again near launch.

Why Dear Passengers became one of Steam’s biggest upcoming co-op games

FLEXUS reported two million Steam wishlists on July 31 and said Dear Passengers had reached Steam’s Top 6. The announcement followed earlier milestones of 700,000, one million, and 1.5 million wishlists in the same month. Those are developer-reported wishlist totals, not sales, pre-orders, active players, or a guarantee of launch quality.

The appeal is easy to read from the official material: one simple group objective creates different jobs, then physics, passengers, cargo, weather, and questionable crew decisions turn every flight into a shared story. The large audience makes date, demo, price, and lobby-size questions worth tracking, but it does not fill in answers the developer has not supplied.

What FLEXUS still needs to announce

  • Exact release date and time: only 2026 is listed.
  • Demo or beta: no public test is currently available through the official Steam page.
  • Maximum players: solo and online co-op are confirmed, but the crew cap is not.
  • Price and editions: no official business model or purchase package is listed.
  • Additional platforms: no console, macOS, Linux, or other PC store release is announced.
  • Online systems: cross-play, matchmaking, servers, host migration, and voice chat remain unspecified.

The Dear Passengers game page keeps the official release status, platform, PC requirements, and future Pixel Twelve coverage together as FLEXUS fills those gaps.
