Street Fighter began in arcades in 1987, but Street Fighter II turned its character-based one-on-one combat into a worldwide phenomenon in 1991. Matches reward timing, spacing, defense, and learning how each fighter's normal attacks and special moves interact. Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Cammy, Akuma, and M.
