Sung Hoon is stepping into the role of Kwon Do-hyuk in What a Boss Wants. MBN released the actor’s first character stills on September 28, showing the entertainment-company CEO in four sharply different looks before the romance drama begins in November.

A dark brown shirt replaces the office suit in one image. Sung Hoon looks to one side, his expression more open than in the formal office photos. The production has not explained where this moment falls in the story.
Another still puts Do-hyuk behind a computer in glasses, under cool blue light. The setting suits a character described by the production as a gifted AI developer who trusts logic and data.
The formal look follows: he studies a document in a navy suit. Do-hyuk runs Oh Yes Entertainment and has been tasked with turning the company around.
The last photo trades the suit for a dark jacket and sunglasses. The change in styling hints at a less formal side of him, while the drama has not explained the moment shown.
Who are the characters?
The romance begins when Do-hyuk, whose strict music taste excludes songs with vocals, hears a woman’s voice on an album and sets out to find her. Oh Se-young plays Lee Eun-chae, a job seeker who also sings in an indie band as Soo. Their lives meet at the point where his carefully ordered world stops following his plan.

The first MBN broadcast is scheduled for November 11, 2026, at 10:20 p.m. Korea time. A streaming service or release outside South Korea has not been confirmed. The drama is based on the Korean web novel and webtoon of the same name, with Kang Sol directing and Nam Ji-yeon writing.
