A real Freddy Fazbear's Pizza is opening at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey, in 2027. The venue is being developed with ScottGames as a permanent restaurant and entertainment experience based on Five Nights at Freddy's.

This is not a short pop-up or a one-week promotional event. ScottGames called it a permanent location, while American Dream described it as the first permanent immersive Freddy Fazbear's Pizza experience. The exact opening date, ticket prices, menu, and reservation system have not been announced.

For anyone who has spent years watching the game's security cameras, the announcement feels slightly unreal. The fictional restaurant has always been the place players try to survive. In 2027, fans will be able to walk through a licensed version of it, order food, play arcade games, and watch the Fazbear Band perform.

Where is the real Freddy Fazbear's Pizza?

The restaurant will open inside American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The shopping and entertainment complex sits next to MetLife Stadium, a short trip from New York City, and already houses large attractions, shops, restaurants, an indoor theme park, and a water park.

American Dream has not revealed the restaurant's exact unit or floor. A specific street-level entrance, opening day, operating hours, and parking guidance should come closer to launch. Until those details appear, any map marker or unofficial ticket page should be treated carefully.

What will be inside the FNAF restaurant?

The first announcement gives the clearest picture so far. The location is planned as a working restaurant rather than a display built only for photos. American Dream says visitors will be able to:

  • eat inside Freddy Fazbear's Pizza;
  • play arcade games;
  • watch animatronic stage shows with Freddy and the Fazbear Band;
  • visit Foxy's Pirate Cove;
  • take part in an immersive multiplayer survival-horror experience.

That last feature is the biggest mystery. The companies have not said whether it will work like an escape room, a live-action walkthrough, a VR game, or something else. They have only confirmed that it will be multiplayer and built around survival horror, so it is better to wait than attach a format the announcement never promised.

The same caution applies to the animatronics. Freddy and the Fazbear Band are confirmed for stage shows, but there are no final designs, performance schedules, or character lists yet. Foxy has a named area, while Bonnie, Chica, and other familiar faces have not been individually detailed in the announcement.
