SBS unveiled four character posters on September 23, introducing the surgeon, the agency director, the hospital chief and the intern at the center of Doctor X. Kim Ji-won leads the October medical noir as Gye Su-jeong.
The Korean broadcast begins Friday, October 9 at 9:50 p.m. KST on SBS. The broadcaster has also scheduled a two-part preview special for September 26 at 8:30 a.m. and September 27 at 8:35 a.m. KST.
What do the new posters show?
Kim Ji-won’s portrait puts Su-jeong against a red background. SBS frames her as a highly skilled surgeon taking on entrenched medical power, so the image is about her place in the hospital conflict, not a scene from an aired episode.
Across from her is Lee Jung-eun’s Jang Hee-sook, the placement-agency head who sends Su-jeong into the hospital. The smiling portrait contrasts with SBS’s description of a woman who keeps her intentions to herself.
Son Hyun-joo plays hospital director Bu Seung-kwon; Kim Woo-seok plays Park Tae-kyung, a surgical intern drawn into Su-jeong’s story. Their portraits appear in the cast cards below, alongside the two women’s posters.

The preview special airs on SBS before the drama premieres. It introduces the series; it is not episodes one and two. Netflix Korea says Doctor X arrives on Netflix on October 9. Check your local Netflix listing for availability and the release time in your country.
