Doctor X follows Gye Su-jeong, a brilliant surgeon placed at Guseo University Hospital. She confronts the entrenched medical power structure while working inside the hospital she has been sent to challenge. SBS describes the drama as a medical noir, with Su-jeong at the center of its conflict. Kim Ji-won plays Su-jeong. Lee Jung-eun plays Jang Hee-sook, the head of the doctors’ placement agency; Son Hyun-joo plays hospital director Bu Seung-kwon; and Kim Woo-seok plays surgical intern Park Tae-kyung. The series is scheduled to premiere on SBS in South Korea on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 9:50 p.m. KST. Netflix Korea has announced an October 9 release on Netflix.
