Curry Barker’s next film, Anything But Ghosts, is scheduled for U.S. theaters on May 7, 2027. Barker will direct, co-write and act in the horror-comedy. Cooper Tomlinson, who worked with him on Obsession, is also a co-writer and cast member.
What is the new film about?
Focus Features describes a group of aspiring ghost hunters who want fame but quickly find themselves in trouble. The studio has not named the characters played by Barker or Tomlinson, so the exact shape of their on-screen partnership remains unknown.
The pair’s previous film, Obsession, was written and directed by Barker. Tomlinson played Ian alongside Michael Johnston and Megan Lawless. The photograph above is from that earlier film, not from Anything But Ghosts.
Who else is in the cast?
Violet McGraw, Chris Reinacher, Bryce Dallas Howard and Aaron Paul are also listed by Focus Features. The company has not announced their character names. The film is being produced by Roy Lee, Steven Schneider, Jason Blum, Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath.
