Bradley Whitford received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on September 30, with The West Wing co-stars Dulé Hill and Martin Sheen joining him for the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hill remembered an early job offer from Whitford:
I was looking for a messenger job. And you had the nerve to offer me a bigger and better job.
Whitford played White House aide Josh Lyman on The West Wing. Hill and Sheen were both guest speakers at the celebration, hosted by Dayna Devon.

A television star on Hollywood Boulevard
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honored Whitford with the Walk of Fame’s 2,858th star, in the television category. It is set at 6104 Hollywood Boulevard, beside the star of his West Wing co-star Allison Janney. Martin Sheen and Hill spoke at the ceremony.
